I have a room that is 14x11, I want to do a Northern Farmer style, but a little smaller. Was thinking 2 maybe 3 tier's on either side. Tier's would be 2x6 wide 3' or 3 1/2' long, each tier would be 11" higher than the lower. On wheels to be able to get to what I need to easily.
My questions are...
Could I use just 1 600w or is the overlapping of the lights what makes this style do what it does so well???
If the overlapping is what makes it do well Could 1 use a light mover with 1 600 to get the same effect???

Thank you. I have read it a few times. Just really want to make sure 1 light alone or on a mover will not be a waste.

you only got one 600w? v-scrog that mofo! 18-20" from the light has worked for me in the past with a 600w. chunky lil baby arm buds.

What size fan should I use? Was thinking a S&P TD-200 538cfm. I will only be using about a 4x4 section of the room. Do I still need a bigger or smaller fan for that large of a room if I am only using a little bit of it??

sorry got lost, ummm.. that is plenty of fan, if you use it to cool your light with a (vertical)6" cool tube you will have amazing results. you will need another fan for your filter to keep your smells under control.

are you just starting growing? personal? ambitions of a mersh opp in that space? your room is huge! maybe a tent? tent would help keep the smells and light on lock.(very important)

I will not be using the fan to cool the light, just to run the scrubber. I do not think I will need to cool the light it stays about 63-66F down there.
Yes will be a 1st indoor grow. Have grown outdoors manyyyyyy times. Will be for personal and a lil extra.

great job getting the forum going shroom dude, I wouldent go over 9 inches on the distance between tiers. get that 600 right down in the middle of the stadium, that means you need at least 2 ft. between each side. one 600 will work but personaly I would use a 1000 w. you need lots of light to light the top tiers that are farther from the light

I wish I could take credit for this forum, but was not me. It did cross my mind, but I just wondered why there was not a forum for Vert.
I have been thinking going 2 600's or 1 K.
I will figure that out when I get the room redrywalled from the sump pump going out and getting mold. I have treated it once and want to 1 more time then am gonna spray it with a oil based killz and use green board. So should be good to go in bout a month or so.
