How much ice do i need.........
Hi there boys n girls, Harry here
I bought myself some budget bubble hash bags on wednesday and am itching to try em out, i have all I need, I bought some bags that make ice cubes easyier than having loads of trays, anyway, my question is .. How much ice do I need???? its a 5 gallon set, 3 bag, I have half a plastic carrier bag(supermarket/grocery bag depending on which side of the pond ur on!) full of trim, and i dont mean everything off the plant, only the crystaly stuff that I trimmed from the buds...I have seen some people using everything, but I know the big non-crystally leaves can only bring contaminant so i havent saved it! Please help, im dying to try it... I will put a pic of the bags up as soon as the pic-posting facilities are up n running again.... so guys..How much Ice to use?? So far I frozen 10 of the ice cube bags, each has 24 average chunky sized cubes which makes 240 cubes in total so far... Is that enough?? should I double it.. i havent a clue. so all you hash-masters c'mon down and help me please Im ready to go... Oh yeah, one other thing...I know some people use drills and others say its bad...and a lot of people use cake mixers... and Wally duck uses a big fucking spoon to do it by hand... what is best?? I wondered about using an old fashioned hand powered mixer with the handle you turn?? Simply so I, a real stoner, dont have to hold an electrical item 3 inches above 5 gallons of water, ... Right then, i await all the advice i know Im bound to get........ catch you later people be lucky now Harry

I'll go to the gas station or food mart and buy a couple of bags of ice... with the amount of trim you have, I'd say you'll use most of a full bag. Fun time br0ther!

cheers mate...well, so far i have got 240 cubes frozen up...I cant find any to buy(we get enough if the bastard come winter-time anyway hehehe) thse ice cube bags that you fill up and freeze are quite cool things if you pardon the un-intentional pun.. each is a little larger and wider than a regular ice cube tray....so, like i say , i have 10 of these frozen so far, which makes 240 chunky cubes...should i keep going?? Id hate to do it without enough and waste my trim which ive been saving since xmas.
If i find any Ill just buy some and use a bag like u say, thanks Zep, and i will have fun, please believe, hehe Be lucky mate Harry

Well guys, this is great...im loving all this info coming in thick n fast,
ill freeze up a couple more just for good measure and get on it tomorrow....cant wait. thanks Zep and DWW.... ive compared these ice cube bags with some trays, and figured out that 3 bags is the same as roughly 4 trays....if thats any use hehe. I gues i can just get a bag the size of the ones u buy ice in and keep going til the fuckers full, hhehe Oh yeah Zep, 3 days mate, thats how long, lol Be lucky people Harry

its ok to use beaters , mixers and drills , but remember your trying only to break the trichomes free , not trying to pulp the weed ... i like a nice ratio of ice , must be making the ice smashing together noise , yes keep your trim frozen , and use nice cold water , i often keep my water in the freezer overnight ... cold cold cold ... youll know when theres too much ice as youll have trouble mixing ..... i will normally do a second run aswell , and add some more ice then , keep the first run to yourself and seperate from the second , it will be better quality ...

might just add that i found fresh frozen trim to retain the smells , tastes better than the dried will , the water turns a nice caramel colour , now thats what you r looking for ...
