Thumbs up Summertime grow...

Well it's summertime and it's starting to get a little hot, so what do we grow? We grow Orient Express, my 2nd time and Congo, my 1st.Both packs germed all 10 seeds after a year in my freezer, all in 24- 36 hrs.Just put 'em into the dirt at my new location, indoors and in organic soil.My past experience under the username Mucha Lucha gives me the knowledge that the OE is resistant to all summertime ills and I assume the Congo as well...All the best to ya'll at Ace and I'll update slowly as the summer moves along. Chaco, aka Lilly456.

Good one Chaco. Some of your posts under Mucha Lucha actually helped me make up my mind about the OE; thanks.

Good luck with the new place.

Welcome again Lilly

Yeah, i remember your great Orient Express grow, one of the OE best reports we have received, you did them to its full potential!

Im glad to hear you are about to start an outdoor grow, Orient Express and Congo are great outdoor plants for warm climates, easy to grow, good yielding and each one interesting in its own. Best wishes for the outdoor season!

I wish they were outside, however my climate freezes hard and snows by Oct 10th and plants don't go out until June 21st and that's @ 37 degrees NL but 8,000ft elevation.I do though have a great new grow room with new paint and bulbs and scrubbers and no, I repeat no neighbors. All my seeds but one have broken the surface, one congo was growing down on both ends and I tried to pull up the cotylden side but the stem snapped, but 9 is not so bad. They'll all be grown in organic 20 gal containers after I sex them in 2gal pots after about 6 or 7 weeks. They all came up real strong and went from paper towel to cracking the surface in 48-60 hrs, can' beat that. I'll take a pic of the sprouts just for the fun of comparing them to the final product.I've been wanting that OE ever since I finished the last joint many months ago...Thanks and my regards to everybody at ACE. Chaco, aka, Lilly456.
