I need to prepare my grandmom for a smoke - Medicinal Cannabis Forum - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

My grandma is in pain. I have printed some literature for her and she said we will try to smoke. Now I dont know how to prepare her so she wouldnt get afraid. She is a non smoker and she will have problems with that as well. Should I make very strong joint and give her oly two quick lungs or make a soft one and let her smoke whole one? I hope she will buy vapo, but I cant scare her on the first try.

Hey Tic, it might be easier on your grandma, especially if she's a non-smoker...to cook something up for her! She'll enjoy it much more 'cause its natural to eat....plus the effects last much longer.

You might want to go in the cooking with cannabis forum and study up on some recipes, ask what a good starting dose for grandma might be (sorry, I smoke my weed, i don't cook it, so I can't help you out there much). She most definitely won't be able to tolerate the doses in the recipes listed, as they're made by stoners for stoners, and grandma's approach must be much much softer...just enough to ease her pain.

Maybe someone in this forum with cooking abilites for med patients can help you get an idea on amounts and best ways to cook up something tasty for your grandma :smile:

omg.. my 1st thought BV... start with light doses Tic... and see how she reacts.. of course communicate the effects... benefits... any drawback?

Hi blue an zepp,

I was thinking of cooking smth myself, but currently I have oly buds and I would much rather smoke them. And everytime I ate smth, it was too much. I think one of my cookies would kill her. Now, we dont want that eh??

www.cannabrex.com might look in to that if that interests you... if she is interested...you can mess with dosage and if you use ground bud for one of those it should be perfect- not really potent... but enough to ease pain i'd think with one or 2 caps.
