What's happening Captain? Just stopping by to inquire about the purple kush project. Is it still a go and if so how's it coming? And will the purple kush be one of your staple strains in heavy rotation at the boutique? I'm not usually a big fan of indicas because I don't need any more help being lazy but i'm in love with purple kush, I had a half a zip and my whole car smelled liked fruit loops.

I did pollinate the PK with OGK pollen and I have them germinating to do a BX...I do not know when this actual pollination will be done and will not really know anything until these plants get 2/3's of the way through flower so I can see if it is a good hybrid to continue with...If yes I will BX it to the PK if not I will toss the project...Time will tell...You can check back in 2 to 2-1/2 months for an update....

Hola capt, just a little input on the PI cut, those in the know have worked it out where the PI is not the UV cut of old.

one more point wanted to tell ya, even outcrossed, there is no hybrid vigor goin on, even after the outcross i did, even the clones from seedplants, are very slow.

I agree as I figured there would be some serious work and a special male to bring out something worth releasing........
On back burner as I just do not find anything special with 95+% of purple plants...This herb is unique but not what I would call overly desireable..And to get a zip worth you have to devote a 1000 fucking watts........Only buds worth mention are all right up top..Kinda like Deep Chunk in this respect...

one trait that will show well is the stonyness of the PI, the outcross with the Screme was short on yield, no worse then any of the OGs. but the bud was pretty tight. lots of frost, and some great flavors.

also the outcross produced short stocky tight ass plants. definitly a indoor wonder plant. hardly any stretch, so a long slow veg is required, lol.

i really like the color of purple in my garden, but like you, there not wowin me much. erkle was a tasty treat.
