In Utah can we just pull off the road?
And camp? We're going on a road trip (me, girlfriend, tent and car) through Utah and the SW and we were wondering if it's cool to just pull of the side of the road in a national park zone and throw down a tent for the night, or sleep in our car.
Will we get harassed/raped/robbed/heavy petting? Thanks!

it's not so easy in national parks but pretty much everywhere else is fine (excluding private land of course). national forests and blm land is what ya want. most parks are more restrictive and lots more rangers...
been off-road camping for decades in utah, nevada and arizona and the only prob i've had is sometimes i find a scorpion or two under my bed when loading up the camp. never been stung tho and know of no one who has... |
