lettuce in E&F?

I have some extra E&F tables in my house, and my wife wants to use them for veggies. She wants to start off with lettuce in one of my 4x4 tables. I would be using 5.5" pots, and hydroton, and GH nutes. Will this work for lettuce? Also what kind of PPM should I be looking for with the nutes? I tried looking on GH's site, and they didnt have any formulas for specific plants like lettuce, tomatoes, etc.

Also the lettuce would go under t5's not HID's

yeah, I had a ebb laying around and grew some lettuce in it when I knew nothing, I added nutes once and they grew, so Im sure your will come out good

this book I have ( how to hydroponics ) says for lettuce 6.0-7.0 , 560-840ppm.

If I remember correct some strains like low nutes and some like over 1000ppm. just work your way up and if you see tip burn back it down, check out growing edge magazine for veggie growing

good luck
