Thumbs up auto flowering plants quick question

just a quick question guys if you grew auto flowering plants under lights.female plants. left them go into bud and messed with the lights to stress the plant out to produce seeds would all the seeds you had from the female be auto flowering.just an idea but i am sure it would be well worth it if this idea worked.

get some beans, plant say 5, plant 5 beans 6 weeks ahead of the other beans,

the females from the first grow, you want to flower alot longer than your asposed to, hopefully they will start throwing nannas.

with the other 5 beans you started 6 weeks after the first lot, use the hermie pollen on these females, the produced beans will be femminized with a nice and low hermie % in the offspring.

I did some of this experiementing on HB.net back in the day,, light stressing DOES NOT effect the AF plants enough to make them hermie enough to produce good pollen. Well this is true to LR#1,, other strains have not been tested,, yet.

I have done many AF grows and never had 1 hermie. What does happen sometimes very late in flowering 70+ days growth, some females will produce small male bananas,, most of which are sterile. I did a test on this 3 times,, produced less them 50 seeds out of 7 months. Not worth it at all. Of the seeds that you make from these bananas, just make sure you pollenate other female plants with them ,, for some reason it will reduce the chance of hermie and keep most pure female. Selfing the plant if possible at that time in flowering ,, will result highest chance for hermie in the offspring.

Look into other ways to produce Female seeds there are ways that work, do some research.

I wish some rich researcher would figure out what gene controls the AF trait, and see if it is the same as NON-AF gene,, there has to be more then 1 pair of genes that controls it due to the reccessive nature of the trait. And find out why Light Stressing causes hermies in NON-AF plants and No hermies in AFs. The Cannabis Genome project needs to be real!
