A ride on the Orient Express
Hello everyone. I present my girls.
And the Boys Out of a pack I got 4 females and 3 males, as you can see, a good ratio. The one in the green pot is going to be repotted and then flowered in about a week. The other females will be flowered as space opens up in my flower chamber. Just for informational purposes: MIX MG potting mix perlite espoma brand lime bone meal worm castings The white cups are 16 oz(475ml), the green pot is 1/2 gal(2 L), and the final flowering pot is 2.5gal(9 L). I also plan on putting a few of these outdoors. I am just waiting for the clones to root. I hope to update this thread weekly, I'll try anyway. Good luck to everyone. SCARAMANGA

Thanks for the thread scaramanga,
They should produce a nice yield if you re pot them in early flowering. Add lots of warm casting in the next pot (guano would be great too), they love it. Im glad to hear you have different females to experience orient express personality. Best wishes, hope you enjoy them! |

Thanks for the words of encouragement. One of the reasons that I chose to grow the O.E. is just what you described, very exotic sounding. Plus the very few grow threads that I had read on the O.E. all looked very interesting/unique. That combined with the descriptions of the smells and tastes that it provides sold me on it. I love landraces and none-dutch varieties, my all time favorite is a Jamaican girl whose seeds were brought back by a friend. I have been purchasing commercially available seeds/strains for over 15 years, and the dutch varieties just share too many common ancestors for me anymore;they all share a "sameness". So when I read the description of the O.E. I was sold. I have also been dying to try something with Vietnamese genes in it for a while. Happy harvest SCARAMANGA

Awesome scaramanga!!! They all look nice and healthy. Hope they produce some BIG flowers for you. What are your plans for the males? How far north are you for doing an outdoor grow?
Have fun and keep on growing
