Trying to save my Orange tree
I have 2 Orange trees in my backyard. One is doing great, the other is small and wispy and the fruit on it is small.
I've only been living here for a year but it was looking the same way for a year, and probably alot longer. So, can anybody shed some light as to whats wrong with the tree and how to go about nusing it back to health? I don't want to have to cut it down if its salvageable. Thanks...Evl |

did you feed it??? and if you already have... then is it getting full exposure to the sun?? i have a lemon tree.. makes a big difference from when you feed it as to not; everything from texture, size, and taste. i just brew up some tea and just dump it around the tree. and man o man you'll see result in one week or so. green leaves... and i mean fresh healthy lookin leaves as to dark old stiff dry lookin ones.
at a second look at the pics... im thinking that you're not feeding the tree at all. third picture of the tree at that angle you can see alot of yellow leaves. |

hope it pulls through winter... then hit it with copper oil... hopefully the new growth next year won't be affected... clean your tools when/if pruning but i'd just leave it alone not to stress it... make sure it's not getting affected by insects; if so treat accordingly... i have one that is like 20 years old and is jacked this year from the past year... can't do anything till next season
