Thanks fjällhöga and Sleepy , these are getting better every day.
With that in mind have just seeded half of each plant with the fragrant male as these could be potential freebies if test out well. There is a distinct odour profile to these i have not found before and would like to pursue through F2,s albeit from a limited selection. The Venomhead are vigorous to the extreme , three different phenos based on structure and two odours. One of most interest has a really bad smell and good structure , identical to being downwind of a sewage treatment works , stale shit and chemical toilets. Had a very similar revolting smell on a zamal cross which cured out to something wonderfull , will get some pics up tomorrow when i find me charger. |

The fatter one has a distinct odour now , that of the roots and stems of blackcurrants/redcurrants esp bareroot stock.
Thinner one has only a faint generic fruitiness at this time. Lower buds have a good coverage at minimal light levels , no hermies or suspect growth form seen. The seeding had a high hit ratio , hairs withered overnight and swelling obvious within two days , equally potent on a C99 cross and a Geisha which could produce something of interest. Hand pollination seems to be easiest with little colateral damage, by actually useing your fingertips to gently rub pollen into the pistills. Really pleased with these and a pleasure to grow , clones of all following on and will test the seed asap , next batch of freebies/server fund if stable and with fjällhöga,s agreement. |

really nice foomar ... ,
you seem to have a very fertile female , my CbII/Vb was dusted to the extreme to end up with a handfull of beans ... im very interested in your Venomhead ... , especially in the recessive phenotype you described above ... > chemical toilet one ... Fj

The male is very fertile for sure , looking forward to growing these out soon.
This is possibly the worst smelling plant i have grown to date , odour not particularly strong untill disturbed then really nasty and lingers , toilet skunk. Regularly drive past the Minworth sewage treatment works near Brum , and the smell is identical , even my bud crazy cat wont go near this one but savages the others given the slighest chance. All were topped far too late and would have made huge single colas , most have some degree of foxtailing and odours are evening out as a hard edged fruitiness , all finished just under a metre , no signs of instability but mould could be an issue. Lightly seeded a few lower buds on all the VH with mixed pollen from the three males , some bud and some F2,s followed by a reveg keeps them busy. Very high yields here considering test conditions and mostly sidelit , almost double what most manage under similar conditions , will they ever be released again or reworked ? Some expensive stuff running alongside looks like shit compared to any of these. |

2 thumbs up foo ... !!! i tell you Venomhead can yield insane and i mean INSANE
i grew a very lemon/chemical cleaner smelling cut for some run's as it grew donkey dicks in 70 days ... here's one of the smaller yielding Vh's ... * i grew this one as it was more potent and still yielding very high ! larger yielding one and no Venomhead is gone for good ... , but i still have Blockhead in my staple

Day 62 for the Cherrychunk , screwed up the colour balance but shows form and trichs.
Long internode but very heavy top colas , have needed stakeing as per warning , smell on both now strong and individual. Leaves have a sheen to them and plants stand out and atract attention in a room full of allsorts. Seeding did work well and developeing nicely. |
