Venomhead and Cherrychunk
These were in the fridge longer than planned but after the rewarding Haze test these were the obvious choice.
Venomhead popped 10/10 within 48 hours and are vigorous and healthy at eight days. They were amongst the best , most mature and well selected i have seen and would have been viable for many more years if stored well. Quite similar with a couple of twisty leaves apart from one on the right which differs in many ways and is a bit freaky , sometimes these are the best ones later on. Five of the Cherrychunk popped over a week but two failed early on , the remaining three are healthy and compact at fifteen days. Have seen some wonderfull results with these crosses in this forum and expect to struggle when decideing on keepers yet again .A Cherrychunk male would be of particular interest ......... |

very nice foomar
nearly all cherry chunk's were female , i dunno why .... , but i killed the male after growing several batches of his progeny and ending up with 99% female's ...

Thanks fjällhöga , checked out all the other threads and the VH shines.
All very similar in form now at 20 days from breaking soil , the runt has caught up fast , all have a pleasent faint odour at five nodes and a compact six inches in height. Half show more natural sidebranching but no real visible variations yet. Will flower untopped and take early flower clones of all/any and do a fullblown or selected pollination based on results. The Cherrychunk have been topped and the clones suggest all will be female rooting under 12/12. A male that produced all female seed naturally would certainly be of use and would love to find and experiment with one. |

Forty days veg untopped , Venomhead all showed sex at 9 - 10 nodes after 3 days of 12/12 in an obvious way.
The three males are identical to the eye but one has a vastly stronger odour. The cherrychunk have picked up after a slow start forming some compact 8 - 10 leader bushes. Stems are particularly floppy and could be litterally tied in knots , forming a natural scrog without a net better than when i try it. Seven female Venoms and three female cherrychunks now in the floweroom and looking good , males in the greenhouse for now. |

Nice 1 foomar ...
![]() be prepared for a major stretch during the first two weeks , when given adequate root space for them .... , smallish pots tend to stunt the cherrie's and might lead to late flower nana's ... and you might have to stake them in the last 1/3rd of the flowering peroid as their stems are a bit weak as you have mentioned already .... this is what i have observed when growing them extensively for some years ... btw Fire666 is still babbling about the fruity/cherry smell and taste he got from a clean glass if there's something unclear or you need something just gimme a pm or post here

Thanks fjällhöga , had to top the venomheads in early flower but only the yield will be reduced and the tops rooted real easy.
Was sure all three Cherrychunks were female but one has turned out a definate male. Preflowers are particulerly similar with this cross in the early stages to my eye. Will set up for a pollination of the females for now. |

Day 14 flower and things are moveing fast.
Cherrychunks have stretched a bit with a long internode but easily managed , next run gets a much longer veg and some serious training. The Venomhead are very vigorous and uniform , a mate would not believe they were from seed at first as they are like clones. These are starting to fill out despite being topped at the worst possible time and the stress has not caused any hermies. Only a faint fruity afghan smell so far but i expect that will change soon. |

Cherrychunk went to four feet fast in flower after a slow start , day 40 mostly sidelit and filling out.
This one has a faint odour so far and particularly long pistils. This one has a good smell and fatter buds at this point. Good trichome coverage without boosters , prefer the taste to yield and few leaves on them. Low down barely lit budlets show plenty of stickiness , these will both get a second run with height management. Have made some seed on both with the sole male and a few test crosses on the usual suspects , could be some interesting phenos to sort through if stable. |
