Why all the bad news about LR #2?
Maybe I'm just new to getting great bud, despite my some 10 years smoking experience and bagseed growing experience, but I have to say LR #2 blew my top!
I just harvested a few smaller plants, including this little girly that had lots of issues from the start (image below). Just smoked her and damn, she blew my head off! I'm completely zonked. I was expecting a mild stone as indicated by others smoke reports. Am I just a complete kind weed newbie or have those smoke reporters greatly undervalued the plant?

I like the smoke. Nice sativa buzz, it's a damn sight better than commercial weed. And for what it is, the yield is decent. About 60 grams from 2 plants.
An "unsuspecting" friend was blown away by it. "What the f***k IS that shit?"

I've done it once, it's not without it's charm, but the 'bad news' I think was just a few lackluster grows that were done and shown when it was first released, it's actually a pretty good cross. It quickly got overshadowed by the crosses released shortly after it, so I think it just kind of fell off popularity wise...
(posting a pic like that isn't going to help people think of LR #2 any better! haha...so tiny. frosty than a b though... I bet it was a nice 4 hits!) Hey, I also tell everyone I can: Do yourself a favor and don't think the netting on the outside of jiffy pots will just magically burst free and let roots grow through it easily. I have always had bad luck when I leave that stuff on. IMHO, it is better to expand the puck, plant the seed in it, rip off the netting, and plant the puck in soil. Did you do this one on purpose? It looks like you just laid the jiffy pot on top of the soil. |

Ive gotten a few unacceptable phenos with lowlifes auto ak, but the majority of them are good but sometimes you get a seed that just screams mutant wtf BBQ, its not just LR2 that has some mutants.

I really enjoy my LR2 buds. it's actually pretty damn good smoke. I let it get nice and ripe. Everyone who's tried it has complimented on it.

![]() The rest were fine. I've used the pucks with and without netting and haven't noticed any problems with netting on.

Hey I've also read bad things about the Joint Doctor lowryder strains on this forum. Some of the growers give the lowryder a really bad rap but I went ahead and orderd some Lowryder2 x Diesel and she's at 52 days out she 's looking great and frosty. I'm looking foward to the harvest and smoke. The seed bank says Lowryder2 x Diesel has a real knock out punch which that's what I'm looking for a stony high with some punch.
