Hi uncle , if you find one like this you will be happy for sure , only downside is the low yield but all the best plants seem to be that way.
Thanks shawkmon , a bit wordy but was well stoned at the time and this was a short edit. After a few days in glass the bud has developed a strange odour akin to spring onions or mild garlic , this was unexpected but the taste when smoked is unchanged. The compact pheno has failed in early reveg , first failure in a very long time with a proven method , would definately take clones before flowering these out and wish i had. She did yield 42 viable seeds so should be an equivalent in there to be found so not a total loss. The male is now gone but did nine small crosses in his short career and have a gramme of pollen in the freezer if any show promise. Gumbo male on a G13 - Diesel clone was the obvious one but some were a bit silly in hindsight , could be freebies for the brave. The Head fathered pheno is now finished and drying , about double the yield , a lot looser and a little less sparkly but still top quality. Smoking some fast dried seeded bits and its a little harsh but stronger than the first pheno and quite different in character , doubt the next smoke report will make much sense even to me. |

The larger Head pheno is a week off the plant and dry enougth to smoke , a little too early but not harsh and smoother than expected.
Buds have a nice look in sunlight with good trich coverage and a firm texture , far looser than the first pheno but crumbles nicer. Mostly capitate and around 20% amber , try to take all test plants at this stage but hard to judge sometimes. Unlit taste is faint and there is very little odour when breaking the bud , bit of a let down at this point after the oral pleasure of the first pheno. First toke is confuseing with no certain flavour , several drags in and its a generic fruitiness with a pleasent harsher sour edge but really nothing special. What it lacks is compensated with an exeptionally strong high of a very sativa nature , visual and depth perception effects when overdone. The tasty low yielder is my favourite but this one is as good as most of whats out there. |

Been smokeing it all morning and it has a high cieling , lot of body effect now and had to stop splitting logs on grounds of health and safety.
The taste is hard to identify , faint but pleasent enougth , these had no nutes and i know organics would up the terpenes a lot. Weed is such a personal thing , keeper or compost and not sure of this particular one , your views could easily be the opposite and equally valid. That first one will take some beating and is amongst the best i have ever had. |

The seeds were huge and all plants have a distinctive leaf crinkle , the mother has a fine taste of citrus/pineapple and was the sole survivor from a recent 15 pack of seconds , very hard buds demand a grinder which i detest and hope the cross loosens them up . Can send in about ten packs for freebies if anyone else feels brave , sounds good on paper but totally untested on both sides. Could use a better name than sweetbum though. |
