I´ve mostly smoked AF´s, except for some pretty mediocre stuff in the Dam (the Shiva was great though), and I´m wondering how they compare in potency to strains like Northern Lights, Skunk etc.

Trying to figure out my outside grow.

Well, it took a lot of yrs to produce hybrids such as NL, Skunk1, ect... when comparing Non-AF to AF buds you have to take in account that AF strain breeding is still in its infancy, producing better, stronger hybrids as we speak. When Joint Doc released LR#1 it was the first reliable AF strain that I know of, but it was lacking in potency, no better then mid-grade commercial if grown very well. But LowRyder unique stable Autoflowering trait has lead to many new AF hybrids, I would recommend LR#2 for better yield and potency ,, comparable to Avg. commercial grade buds, MaterLow by Mdanzig is Very nice for taste and potency is a bit higher then the LR#2.

Now to compare them to Northern Lights , skunk etc... I would give true NL#5 a 8 out of 10 for a indica dominant high, Master Low has a similar high but would be about a 6 to 7 out of 10 for potency, varries by plant, but taste is very good. There are many new strains coming out this yr so just keep your eyes open for better ones that suit you.

I would also recommend Mossy's JEMS if you can find them ,, very purple and potent buds. But they do take a good 9-10 weeks indoors, for perfection.

ICC: Thanks that´s the kind of answer I was looking for! I like LR2 a lot, it has a trippy buzz, AK47xLR2 tastes nice and has a mellow high. I just cut my first Dieselryders and man did they weigh in heavy! I´ve never had a cola like the one DR!

I guess I´ll do a seedrun with DR and AK47xLR2, I´ll then try som indica dominant strains and hope for a good summer...

Hey, if you are looking for early strains and want something different then Indica high check out DURBAN, great early pure sativa, I think Sensi has kept theirs 100% pure landrace, but check the froums there. For me they always Finish on or before Sept 15.

I had no luck with the only pure sativa I tried, just wouldn´t start to flower and that was indoors!

I had them on 12/12 for months.

I grew some Lowryder 2 indoors in Hydro under a 400 watt HPS.. The stuff was VERY potent. friends compared it to a hit of acid in some ways. I even had to bring some of them home.. well because they asked me to

Anyways its a lot of electricity and less yield. i had them on 18/6 for 9 weeks. I wouldnt do it again. Im throwing some outdoors this year and i cant wait!

EVERY AF I've ever grown, from original LR #1 to Dieselryder, has been fantastic, good and potent, and heads and shoulders above most everything I've bought on the street. I never understood where the "not a drug cultivar' rumor started. AF's can and will blow the vast majority of people's minds when grown and smoked well
