I've been wanting to grow warlock for a while, especially now that fem seeds are available. I've been holding back though because I've seen its smell referred to as the 'Dutch aroma wonder' and other references to its strong smell.

I'm just about ready to make a seed order and I'm tempted to add Warlock but before I do I'd like to find out what the warlock smell is like. Is it a penetrating skunky reek or is it just a strong non-skunky smell?

I have an ozone machine and small self-contained carbon filter/fan unit that keeps the odor in my house down to a background herby/floral smell that can be easily covered with cooking/cleaning and other household smells. I don't want to invest in a more sophisticated odor system.

So. if I grow one or two Warlocks at a time will my house stink like skunky pot or something else? And if something else, what is the smell like?

boo berry cereal is the odor. this was a favorite among friends.yes it does stink up a room. good luck Taproot

Thanks for the info Taproot. I'd like to ask you another question - when you say it will stink up the grow room, do you mean the strong smell will be confined to the grow area and not spread throuhout the house, or did you mean it stinks in a general way that will spread throughout a larger area?

I could deal with a strong smell in the growing room; but not throughout my house.

IHMO...it doesn't spread the stink to the whole house and mine actually doesn't reek all the time. Only when the plant is handled or shaken, it will release an AWESOME bouquet of smells. I think the cereal description is pretty accurate, and honestly its a VERY nice smell!

PDS, your's seems to be a very sativa leaning pheno...i have an more indica pheno growing...interesting.

Thank you for the replies. They put my mind at ease and I just bought a five-pack. After growing for 3 years without an incident I force my self to be paranoid otherwise I could easily get sloppy thinking I'm invincible because I'm so clever.

out of all of my mothers this is my most sativa leaning and still finishes out around 60 day but as you said yours doesnt smell unless touched mine reeks up the room on its own although now that i think of it all my girls sativa/indica leaning have a tendency to be stinkers. love the warlock Gerrit ya struck gold

PDS, i have only this one lone female...i was gifted just one seed and it turned out to be this girl i have growing now. I have never smoked the Warlock...but am interested to know how it is? Any descriptions/reports on the smoke? And if you would...could you tell me about both the indica and sativa pheno smokes? Thanks in advance.
