made a bit o bubble with my mate the other night from a big bag of mixed trim

mixed it up for over an hour there was about 200+grams in there, i didnt make alot of bubble but it came out ok

this is bfore drying and pressing

this is after not alot but its nice and strong surprisingly the first grade was crap second was good(it bubbled) but the third was the best...we ve mnade more since with a better yield il post pics wen i get some more taken...peace

sounds like you put to much in the bags. I prefer never mixing more then about 3 ounces at a time in my 5 gallon set. Last good mix we used 3/4 lb of Godbud trim and got back 8 grams of 73, 7 grams of 45, 4 grams of 129, and 4 grams of 25. Didnt weigh up the other grades as these were given to the guy we got the trim from, but there was approximately another 6 grams or so of 190 and 160 together.

yeh i agree Bram next time well put alot less in, thats sounds like a nice yield of Godbud hash u had there i made some more with my Shit trim and got back nearly five grams of first and second grade that was from 100 grams of trim...pics to come

I no longer press mine ... just leave it loose ..smokes very nice this way ...... just check out trichomefarmers bubble pics in the 420 celebration pics .... I assure you if the trichomefarmer says it is the best way ... it is

Yeh iv seen the pics of Trichomefarmers hash but i much prefer mine pressed, a chemical reaction occurs wen the heat and pressure is applied and the crystals bind, this is wot makes hash wot it is and can bring out more psychoactive properties of the cannabinoids...

Hey Bram, ur probly right on that one iv found that bubble hash doesnt taste that much or have a strong smell, tho the Shit bubble i have has a nice taste just like the weed but better but the dry sieved hash from the Shit smells and tastes stronger than the bubble

this is the Shit bubbble 1st and second grade got 4.6 grams from 100 gram of trim...

they reckon that flavour issue is because the "things" for want of a better word, which the flavour are water soluble, and so get chucked out,......

yes, the turpentenes aka flavenoids are mostly water soluble, which is part of the reason I only lightly press the bubble. Usually I am making it for friends, so I have to do all the work at their place and its harder to transport a gooey freshly collected glod of bubble then it is to transport a slab with just enough water removed so as to make it slightly moist to the touch. Have you tried sorting out the shit trim into the different grades ie. fan leaves, larger sugar leaves from the bud, and finally small extremely sugary leaves and budlets? If you like the taste of dry sift better, you can use the bags without water and ice. Just put the plant matter in and start a shakin', I had some NYC Diesel dry sift from a buddy of mine, he only used the 160 bag tho, but holy shit did it ever taste phenomenal. Unfortunately for me the NYC loses its kick after about the 3rd joint or bowl of kif.
