Revegged mother messed up trimming
Here's the deal. I had 5 females in the flower for 2-3 weeks and picked the most vigorous one and slapped her back into veg. Then i snipped off the young buds (problably mistake) and i did it wrong - half wrong. See, I only trimmed the upper part of the plant wrong. The new nodes started coming in the lower part, but nothing upstairs.
Now im thinking what to do since I dont know whats happening with all the energy upstairs. Not to mention that the majority of the light from 2x25W CFL-s is blocked by those huge fan leaves and the lower nodes are not doing that good. Maybe i should snip off some of the upper fan leaves or even cut the plant in half? Im asking those stupid questions because its my first time and i dont have any seeds left :P Here are the pictures, they speak for themselves. Also I dont have much time left to develop those nodes - clones are needed within one month ![]() The whole plant. Lower nodes. Roots are good atleast. Going to replant asap. |

might as well just cut it off above the third node. why did you pick all the growth tips off?

Someone told me to >_< (and he said that the amount of nodes will double, which was kinda true :P )
I'd imagine that the-cut-in-half-plan stresses the plant alot. How will those nodes react? Growth stops for a week? |

Yes i would assume a week or so.. But if its urgent maybe get another light. Not a cfl tube but a cfl "bulb" (energy-save light) and hang it right in the middle of the plant. You could even attach it to the top of the plant and let it hang down. The new nodes will be large enough in 2 weeks. I also believe you can roll up the top fan leaves like a cigar, but very loosly and tie them together (like a bundle.. 1 per leaf) with some hemp or other soft string, that way you will have almost full light down there without any real stress like butchering the poor thing. She looks very healthy btw.
