Big Buddha Chiesel and Blue Cheese Grow

Here are my results so far. Plants still have a little way to go but I'll update when everything is harvested. I have some good things to say and some bad things. More good though thankfully.

400watt 12/12 from seed. 1 or so gallon pots with promix hp and GH nutes and a little bit of added lime. I keep forgetting the wormcastings and not enough perlight.

You will see some issues with my garden and I assure you they are attributed to low humidity/very cold nights and poor draining soil (not enough damn perlite in promix) So ignore the droopy and or curly leaf tips. These plants are fed well they just have cold wet feet.

Here is the garden
Blue Cheese on the left and front(dark plants)
Chiesel in the middle and a few of those freebie mazars in the back. I Have a HUGE unhappy bluecheese sativa pheno in the back.

Here is the bluecheese sativa pheno next to a Chiesel. Which brings us to the bad news. As you can see she really hates the conditions and started to hermi on the bottom lower branches. I had to toss her after this shot. Not before she polinated one bud of my favorite chiesel plant of course

Apart from that poor beautiful sativa pheno the other 4 bluecheese are short, bushy with thin dark leafs and smell amazingly fruity. One of the best smelling plants i've ever grown. Here is my Favorite Bluecheese plant so far.

Next we have the Chiesel. This plant has a strong afghan smell to it. Smells like badbreath/rottingfruit. One of the frostiest buds I've grown. They all grow very uniform and out of 5 seeds I found one real keeper and I will be reveging her for sure. Turning a bit purple(low temps) Here she is.

blame the hermi sat for polinating her :(

Anyway thats it for now. To sum it up so far i've had 9 out of 10 great plants from Buddhas genetics. This is the first time i've had a plant hermi but under the conditions she was in i can't really blame her. I will be updating this thread weekly from now on enjoy.

AinSophAur, Looking good. I also have 4 beans of the Chiesel that I want to try out. Started one this last grow but ended up not having the room with my other projects and had to give it away. Going to pull up a chair and see your thoughts on this strain.

Good luck and keep us posted.

The chiesel is very leafy with light green buds and has at least one very frosty pheno. The other phenos are nothing special. Great hash plant.

Looking good! That one blue cheese close up has some awesome pistil formation! You plan on keeping that one for a possible mom?

They are curently all packin on the weight. My favorite cheisel isn't growing much anymore and is now on plain water. She isn't the biggest yeilder and her buds are a little leafy but she finished first, smells the best and has the best resin production. Another Cheisel pheno I've found has since cought up in trichome development and it looks to be the best yeilder but she is foxtailing (cheese trait) so I'm not possitive.

As for the bluecheese they are just starting to frost up and the buds are all very dense and very fruity/skunky. Still have not found a keeper pheno yet. I'm sure one will pop up soon.

Wanted to get this all down tonight because I will most liekly be too lazy to type it all tomorrow when I upload the Pictures (i forgot the camera at a friends)

also if anyone cares, one of my mazar I Sherif hermied like craaazy. I'm really not impressed with the MIS seeds.

So stay tuned for pics.

Ok I again forgot my camera but I have this piece of junk laying around so I will use it untill I get a better camera.

First up Chiesels

I have picked the only two phenos worth any interest.

My most likely future mom. She has the most trichomes and smells the strongest. She also finished first. She is a little leafy but I don't mind. She is not the biggest yielder out of the bunch but will do great with an extra week of veg.

Next we have the other decent foxtail pheno which seems to be packing on the trichs late.

As for the BlueCheese one plant seems to be doing great. They all have below average trichome development but maybe that will change. They are just starting to finish growing. They will be going into flush hopefully by next week. I will have more pictures soon.

Bluecheese seems to finish at least two weeks longer then the chiesel. And has much more variation in structure but all the buds seem very uniform. They are starting to smell much more skunky and less fruity.

Here is the garden. Notice the ugly mazar I Sharif on the far right. It really is a terrible plant. I'm thinking of just throwing her out. Shes just taking up space and i dont think she will yield more then a gram lol

Anyway I can't wait for this nightmare of a grow to end so I can start a real grow show worth checkin out.

What up AinSophAur !?

Your plants were having some issues I see. Garden still looks good ! Sorry to hear about that hermi B-Cheese too.

I'm currently running Big Buddha Blue Cheese too. I have 2 plants under a 150w hps ( upgrading to 250w ) in my Homebox XS ( 2ftL x 2ftW x 4ftH) at 5 1/2 weeks Flower. They're in 2.5 gal pots with Pro-Mix HP, worm castings and perlite at 3:1:1 and using PBP nutes Grow, Bloom, Liquid Karma, Cal-Mag, Sweet, and Clearex. Also feed Grandma's Molasses with EVERY watering and feeding, instead of Cal-Mag and Sweet. I started 12/12 when they were 21 days old, standing 4" and 6" tall, now they're 16" and 18" tall.

Hey Flo nice plants, very nice plants, you seem to be having some issues too jk your plants are in way better shape then mine. The thing is I didn't have control of this garden up untill a few weeks ago. It was just a fast set up to find a quick finishing mom for this years outdoor. I lucked out with that one chiesel gonna have a LOT of hash making this fall.

The sativa leafed short bluecheese pheno I got is so far my favorite. She is taking forever to put on weight though and will most likely be pulled out because I just don't have the time for sativa dom finisher.

No ill intentions with the "issue" statement. Just talking about the probs you took control of.

I feel u about sativas. I don't want anything that will take longer than 9 weeks. My indica dom b-cheese is the shorter plant, with the most trichs too. It will def be done in 2 1/2 weeks. I think I'll let the sat dom go a few days longer, but MAX 7. It also happens to have the fattest cola ! At least I can enjoy 1 pheno of each, so I'm cool. I'd be happy with 1oz of total cured bud.

Flo, Nice looking BC plants.
Both of you are doing a good job on those BB strains. I have the chiesel but don't know when I will ever have a spot open in the flower tent for this strain. I have too many strains I want to run the next couple of grows. AinSoph, I hope you do a smoke report on the chiesel. A good report might make me change my mind lol.
