Southern Lights Grow
Hellow fellow IC'ers. I have not seen anyone do a Southern Lights grow as of yet so thought I would give er a shot. This will be the first time I have tried any of the Delta 9 gear, the NYCD X Sensi Star certainly sounded great.
First the basics: Commercial Soilless mix Fox Farm Nutes (GB, BB & TB liquids) Eight (8) 26 watt CFL (Blue Daylight) for veg 400 watt HPS for flower Plastic Cup through 3 gallon Bags/Pots Took a 5 pack of the SL, gave them a soak for 24 hours before plopping into the soil. I did not have the best of luck germinating and only 3 of 5 popped. It has been 12 days now since they broke ground: The first thing that strikes me is that for a 80 % sativa, they seem pretty indica looking to me. 3 Sensi Star pheno's perhaps?? They are looking really healthy and are keeping quite short and squat. I will probably be transplanting to small grow bags within the next week. I am looking forward to growing these out as I have never tried either the NYCD or the SS. Hopefully I will get atleast one female out of the three to keep this thread interesting. I also plan on making some f2's ( If I get both a Male and Female) and I will try and cross it with a Rez Wonder Diesel and a Nirvana Bubblelicious if everything goes to plan. I will try to update on a regular basis. In the meantime please check out my FIM/LST Thai-tanic, Jock Horror and Blue Mystic grow here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=115900

Awesome.. Been waiting for a SL grow thread..
My last run (not SL) had a few plants that started off looking indica but finished up looking very different. |

hyposomniac: Thank you, Stick around and well see how this SL Grow turns out.
Ok so I transplanted into 1/2 gallon bags/pots. Here is a pic update at day 18 of veg: I will keep the SL in these 1/2 gallon bags for about 3 weeks before transplanting into the final 3 gallon bags. I have to say that thus far they are looking very vigorous and healthy. Here is my Wonder Diesel at day 25. I hope to mix the SL and WD and see what happens. Just have to wait to see what is male/female. Here is a pic of what else I have going at the same time. WD in back, Bubblelicious and the far right small ones are Hindu Kush. Veg tent is crowded right now. Girlfriend started some tomato seeds as well.

I always look at these beans on SBoo but never seen many grow reviews so never got them. I'll be watching this one, the makeup of the strain sure sounds like a match made in heaven.
Whose Bubblicious you got? Nirvana? I think you'll like it man, I grew out a beautiful female this past fall/winter, that was FUNKY. Just started a few more beans, hoping to find her again and take cuts this time. Heres what the Bubb looked like ![]() ![]() Digging the tomato sprouts bro, my room is being taken over by 2 decent sized green bean seedlings, and a bunch of Tomato(2 different varieties) and some bell peppers. I probably started them too early, or my weather is just staying shitty longer this year, I need to get them out......
