What kind of systems are you guys using out there?

I'm mostly DWC using airstones/curtains and aquarium air pumps. I've just added a power head to my current scrog for the first time.

I've also been using OG's Nimby's shallow water culture for early veg with excellent results.

Also what is a power head for a scrog screen?

I for one am here....... even tho I also plant a few outside each year I made the switch to hydro about 2 years ago I guess.

I am currently using a 2x3 closet ebb and flow SOG...

it started out as 2 2x3 cement mixing tubs(they hold 24 gallons when filled to the top) from Home De'Pot for $13 each rather than hydro store bought $100+ specialty made E&F tables and rez's.

One in the bottom of a standard size closet as the rez, then another one on a shelf the size of the closet about 6 inches above the rez for the E&F tray....$15 worth of standard E&F plumbing parts from the local hydro shop, along with a very slight slant off of lvl on the shelf holding the E&F tray will make gravity do a great job of draining the home made tray.

A $30 Mag drive submersable pump run on a $25 7day 24hr 1min adj with like 30 on/offs digital timer floods the table anywhere from 5 to 15 min an hour depending on what all I have in the tray.

I run a 430 HPS in a homemade cooltube on a closed circuit exhaust ...about 72w per sq ft

I use Pure Blend Pro/Liq Karma/Superthrive/silicablast and may soon give superbud.

At the moment I have nothing in flower and A11 AK47 and SensiStar(paradise) in germ or veg

im doing my first hydro grow atm, harvest in just over a week

its a homemade nft table, im very impressed with the results, so far

I run a self contained cabinet with the following:

Cabinet: 1/2" plywood 36" deep x 60" tall x 48" wide on casters. Painted flat white inside all corners and doors air tight more or less.

Veg -
250W mh
16 x 32 ebb/flow table
6" circulation fan

Flower -
600W Hortilux cooltube
24 x 24 ebb/flow table
6" circulation fan

6" 440cfm exhaust fan for the whole thing (pulls through the cooltube) temps hold 62 to 79 degrees

Clone/seedling -
2 - 24" Agrosun 2 bulb flouro's
2 - 10" x 20" trays
2" and 8" humidity domes
Aero Cloner 20

Everything on timers so it's completely hands off if you choose

Pure Blend Pro, Liquid Karma, Kool Bloom, and Superthrive nutes.

I am currently growing Mazar(4 weeks in flower) and 8 clones in veg, BOGS LSD(seedlings), BOGS Bog Bubble(seedlings), Nirvana's Jock Horror, Northern Lights #5, Orange Kush, Frost, and DP's Orange bud.

Hey, there you guys are.

Situla--I'll get some pics taken. I've got a new digi I've never used and now I have an excuse.
A power head is basicly a pump that moves air and water in fish tanks. It does the same thing as a pump and stone, just in a different way. They pump water out across the dwc surface causing the same exchange in gasses an air stone creates. They also siphon air into the water stream at the same time.

diggity--Man, 'dro' is so easy. No, really, it is. I need to fire up my (Did I mention brand spanking new, my mom got it for me x-mas with the 3X trich close up zoom on it)camera any way. I don't know what system is the best 'dro' set up, but DWC has to be the most simple.

Texas K--Temps that low with so much heat, in such a small space is impressive.
