tnx s a h I’m glad to be here, especially if i can meet old friends.
Ive seen that a few old members are here and i decided this is the place for me. i still have 10 more snl seeds and 7 more ls seeds and i don't want to risk them outdoors,in a few months ill be able to get a place of my own. |

just came back from a visit, all is o.k,1 plant is doing fine and Ive planted another one in the same pot.
the water collar is performing like i expected,it still had some water after 6 days, top soil was still moist, next time ill visit after 9 days or so. maybe if ill add some water crystals ill b able to stay a way from them for a few more days. i just hope that root structure wont be inhibited by the constant moisture,it hasn't been the case with my tropf bluemats(supplies constant moisture) |

hi there bromhexine,hb sure was a nice site.
and here's a small update: the mini water collar works just fine,my plant is unfortunately a male. average temps are about 30c(first heat wave 37c was yesterday) and i could water the plant every 9 days or so at this early stage.(more if ill add some polymers or expand the "res") plant is healthy(kinda small 6" or so)and show no signs of under\over watering, ill try to get some pics next week when ill end his life and keep the pollen. the seed that i precracked and planted in the "system" did not germ, i should really start them indoors. |

whats your method of storing the pollen? i hear that starting the plants in big beer cups indoors until sex is shown works best for outdoor transplanting.

the best way will definitely be the "bigger the better" approach,to prevent unnecessary stress. i'm gonna keep whole pollen sacks(after drying it for a few days)in small glass jar that contains those tiny silica gel baggy's,and ill store the jar in a cool dark dry place. |
