Anyone know if it's possible to make cannabutter without the butter, so a vegan could eat the cake? Could you use the same process (hot water, melted butter, plant trim and popcorn buds) but replace the butter with sat, Olive spread?

Though I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, by any means, I do believe you can do that. however, for baking purposes, your cake may turn out different than indicated on a recipe. I really don't have the chemistry knowledge to tell you why, but there's a reason why one cake recipe calls for butter and the other calls for margarine. So, if you do decide to make olive oil butter, be prepared!

Soya butter/spread ...Add a lil pure extra virgin olive oil to fatten it up a bit to better catch the THC...

Also make Canna (soy)milk...

I add both when baking edibles, and the combination of the 2 makes up for the lesser potency of using Soy instead of animal fats.... bake on very low heat...
