Grape punch...problem?

Hi,
Grape Punch in soil. 400W HPS.

Mid-flower. Soil i'm using is mixed by the garden shop, they won't tell me what's in it...last feed was 2 weeks ago...been giving R/O water since then.
soil pH 6.5. it shows best in the last pic. i'll try to put up a better pic later...

Leaves seem to be "rusting" in the veins. none of the other 7 plants in soil are doing this. any ideas?

Hi Sleepy,

I have a Heavy Duty Fruity in early veg with the same problem. Gave it dose of micro-nutes last night and she looks a little better today. Verdicts still out though. Another day or two will tell.

won't tell you whats in it? is there something magic about their dirt? Thats the sillyest thing I've read all day. I'd steer clear of folks like that, and mix your own so you KNOW what your plants are in. No idea about the rusty veins... never seen that. Lookin purdy resinous though .

Hi, goldmember!!!

yeah, its pretty wierd. i never minded, because it has great drainage, and everything i've put in this soil (MJ,tomato, pepper, all kinds of flowers...etc...) just take off and do very well in it.

maybe this plant is using up the nutes in the soil and needs a feeding??

peace.

you could always take a cutting off it and play mad scientist and do a little experimenting
I'm wondering what % of seeds are defects... err like retarded ya know?
Say you start 100 seeds...
Assume you get 50 females
out of those 50... 5 prospective mothers
45 girls left... 2 of'm look a bit strange, yet they've all been given the exact same conditions... maybe rusty veins, maybe slow growth.. whatever
Are these 2 oddballs the "retards" of the bunch?
Was the breeder smokin' crack while pollinating his 2 finest ladies and now we have a generation of "crack baby seeds"?
Its a mystery.. like which came fisrt.. the chicken or the egg...
Im baked, and I'm rambling... and I gotta go now.
peace,
~gm

I'd think she's a bit overfed and pH-stressed. She is a little to glossy-dark-green for my preference... Probably some build-up of salts there too. (I had some similar issue when using Canna Terra Flores for the first time.)

I suggest a real good flush/leach, adjusting the pH and then just keep an eye on her for the next two days.
-Could be an idea getting them trace elements into the mediuim aswell. Mg-deficiencies have occoured late in bloom at occasions... (I'm not too consistent when mixing my soil you see

Keep us posted then Sleepy
