Organic Farmers the next target for Gov. control !!!

I posted this into the "laws section" but thought It should be here as well.

OK. This may not have to do with cannabis........YET, but it will effect all Americans who love locally grown foods.

The word is that they will go after YOUR own garden next !!!!!!!!

Obama's reign is going to be devastating to the United states if this is an indication of status quo.

It's the food giants that are actually killing Americans and the cause of our out of control healthcare problems.

I just watched "The Beautiful Truth" and have started a garden for myself already. (In just 2 days)

Jeebus! Are you for real? You really come off as a screaming nut sometimes Pirate...

The bill is a work in progress, it has some flaws, needs work, but has good things as well.

Here is a link that gives a nice synopsis of the bill, with both pros and cons:

This has nothing to do with Obama. The bill was introduced by Rep. Rosa DeLauro, and is going to be voted in the house. Stop using misleading headlines. Obama just implemented an organic garden into the White House.

There is no language in HR 875 that would regulate, penalize, or shut down backyard gardens or ‘criminalize’ gardeners; the bill focuses on ensuring the safety of food in interstate commerce.

Farmer’s markets would not be regulated, fined, or shut down, and would, in fact, benefit from strict safety standards applied to imported food to ensure that unsafe imported food doesn’t compete with locally grown produce.

...

This isn’t a done deal – the bill hasn’t yet even been considered by any Congressional committee, nevermind seen any debate or proposed amendments. There is no ‘plot’ to ram this through Congress and into law.

It would be better use to double dig your beds than to hype up scare on the internet over this.

OK wait.

You send me to CHANGE.ORG ??? CHANGE ?? Gee I wonder who they support?

Here are a few quotes from the site you suggested:

1) Yes, Fish Suffer, and No, Vegetarians Don't Eat Them. (LOO LOO !!)

2) The official site stance:.... OCA does not support HR 875 in its present form, given the fact that, if the bill's regulations were applied in a one-size-fits-all manner to certified organic and farm-to-consumer operations, it could have a devastating impact on small farmers,

3)A Poster:..So are they going to be idiots and make a law like this or will it never come to be? If it does come in to existence am I going to be braking the law by growing tomatoes in my garden? Will they arrest me for planting a seed and not poison it with pesticides?
lol, let's pray it never gets past the myth stage.

Now. Consider everything else the new Scaministration is cramming down our throats...........What makes you think they won't do the same with this.........After all "Its for your own protection" By the time you wake up..........This will be law.

Alarmist? Damn strait. These people in Washington have not given a single reason not to be. Give me just one reason to trust em.

Keep the bastards out of my garden.

Yeah but the laws don't apply to them. Haven't you learned that yet?

Anyway.....I fixed the title for ya.

When I am wrong I'll admit it. My header was wrong. Obama didn't request It.

He'll just be the one to sign it.......................... (without reading it)
