here is one for all my chocohaulic friends.
This is a 40+ year old recipe that my grandmother used for many many years. It was and still is my favorite cake of all cakes. I could always count on seeing this wonderful conglomeration of chocolate goodness during the Holiday Season as well as my birthday

Grandmother is long gone but her recipe of dishing out her special brand of love will live on forever.

Chocolate Sheet Cake

Sift together 2 cups of flower with 2 cups of sugar- Place them in a mixing bowl.
In a saucepan mix 1 stick of margarine,
½ cup of shortening,
4 tbsp of cocoa (Hershey’s unsweetened).
1 cup of water.
Bring it to a boil and pour it over the flower and sugar in the mixing bowl.
Add ½ cup of buttermilk,
2 eggs slightly beaten,
1 tsp of baking soda,
1 tsp of cinnamon,
1 tsp of vanilla extract.
Mix well and pour into a greased 10 x 16 inch pan. Bake aprox. 20 minutes at 375*F

Icing
Mix the icing when the cake is in the final stages of baking and pour the icing on the cake while the cake is still hot.

Melt in a saucepan
One stick of margarine.
4 tsp of cocoa (Hershey’s unsweetened).
6 tbsp of milk.
Remove from heat and add
1 box of confectioner’s sugar
1 cup of pecans (chopped or un-chopped, whichever you prefer.)
1 cup of coconut
1 tsp of vanilla extract.

That looks like diarrhea. However, I would do a faceplant into there.
