I thought there was a thread that addressed this, but I can't seem to find it. Just curious of release dates for any new beans, particularly the Deep Chunk.

Ya we all want the deep chunk. Check seedbay 420 auction if you are willing to put up your firstborn child for a pack. 4 or 5 packs up right now.

Unfortunately, "poor people" usually are not able to bid in seed auctions. Especially when it involves the likes of a highly sought after strain like Deep Chunk. If it were up to me, I would set them at $50 BIN's across the board. Unfortunately, the business doesn't work like that. It comes down to a basic rule of supply vs. demand. Very little supply + outrageous demand = insane price.

I'm sure when OGBub surfaces again(ever play whack-a-mole?), he will set the DC prices at a reasonable level and place them in his Seed Boutique storefront, or his Seedbay auction site.

In all seriousness though, as I understand it more is in the pipeline or coming down the line or whatever you want to call it, and hopefully they will offer that at like $40 or 50, even though they can obviously get more, to give us broke dudes a chance!

For the record, I was not trying to alienate the financially unfortunate. I was merely using your quote to address your statement. I have given away thousands of seeds to strangers. Mostly med patients who are under financial hardship, or a fixed income. I do not set the price of seed that Bub sends in. I have not seen an official release of HTC gear, ever go for more than $80 USD. A few cali clubs tried to push the price up, but they got dropped from the list as quick as they were added, because of their greed.

We at HTC are compassionate, and very giving. We do however have a loose business model we try to follow. As in, HTC is a SEED Company, and we do expect compensation for the risk and work we put in, doing what we do. No one is prying wallets open. I don't think I have to defend our prices to anyone. They are fair as we see it. If ya don't like where we set the price, move on to something else. There is a plethora of gear out there you can spend much more money on, and not get near the quality genetics we offer.
