I've just got off the phone with his wife who was rushing to the hospital to see him
he's in a coma due to numerous medical conditons that are too long to list
Nancy did say there was sings of improvement this morning and would keep me informed

if anyone wants to drop them a note of support or maybe even call here's the info
I asked Nancy if it was Ok to publish this info as it's already on OG and she's fine with it

Since I first met Jay and watched the Medical Movement take over around my life I for the first time saw what Marijuana was all about and at the same time what compassion was all about as well. Now that my dad is headed down a really bad road Compassion is what is holding my family and our spirts together. Overgrow was one of Jay's favorite things because it really tied together his love for helping people with his knowledge of science. I personally have been so touched and inspired by all of your thoughts and prayers and no time is to late to call us here at the house. Jay right now is still alive but barley. His liver and kidneys are badly damaged and right now all he has keeping him alive are machines, prayers and the love of his family, wife, and friends. Thank you all so much for everything you have given us and him and always know we will be forever greatful. Please keep in touch with my mom Nancy as she needs us more than anyone. Again Thank You all for everything. We will keep all of you updated and let you all know how Jay is doing. God Bless and God speed to a true hero in Human liberty.

I don't know Dr. Jay, but I know of his work and I'd like to join in offering my prayers to such an upstanding member of the cannabis community, and provider of healing to the sick and ailing. Much love Dr. Jay. You are in my prayers.

I'm with you Blue... I don't know the good Dr personally... but I know and admire his work and determination. His knowledge of the medical use of cannabis is unsurpassed. I love reading his views on various strains and his experiences with them.

Sending positive thoughts and vibes to Dr Jay and his family.

This is horrible news. Gives me a bad feeling in my stomach. I really hope he makes it out of the coma in better health. Man I dont even know what to say. I think about Dr Jay everytime I smell a trainwreck plant or bud. I think about a dead mentholated whale as he would describe it. Damn I could never get that out of my head. I wish him and his family all the best! This bubbler of wreck is for you Dr Jay taken at 44 days a couple days later than you like but Im sure you wont mind.
