There are many strains out there that show sex early and stay somewhat small stature. I have grown out Mikado from Federation they show sex easy and they are medium height and you get a good yield. Why are you going with lowryder crosses? That is a tiny bud of a plant from what I have seen. Best o luck

What did you end up going with?
Anyone tried the paki ryder or afghan kush ryder? I'm growing one Afghan Kush Ryder now. It will be June I'm estimating before I can give a smoke report. |

Not yet. The little ones are purple though. The temps are still cold so they've not been put in the ground yet. Still coming in at night. Should see our last frosts within the next two weeks though.
The dirt is a mix of compost, wood ash, composted manure, poly crystals and regular plain old dirt. I've been watering with extremely diluted compost tea and they've shown good vigor from this. |

I have two Afghan Kush ryders started now and I precracked both seeds. There's a random bagseed growing with one and it's lime green. The color difference is very cool.

I may actually leave them in pots instead of going in the ground. i'm not sure yet. Some threads say they're succeptable to rot because they're so small in stature. The pots would keep them elevated. I'm just worried about critters munching them.
