A Casey Jones grow great strain & fun to grow
Just to post a few pics and a thanks for those who developed the strain along with my friend on IC Mag who gifted me the seeds.
Had a blast growing this strain although at times was intimidated by the 7 foot pheno B plant which I had to bend to check the top buds. Wasn't sure it wasn't just going to keep on growing and take over the whole house :-). The aroma's fro the 3 pheno types were distinct and a filled the house to the point I had to keep visitors away during the last few weeks LOL. Presently nursing my reveg of pheno A. Pheno C has revegged perfecty so have a mother of that one. I could probably get better yield from the plants next time, however I'm not sure whether when folk talk about the gram per watt whether they mean on each plant under a light during the grow or the total amount of plants undr the light during the grow. If its the total number of plants then across the grow from all plants I got just over .5 gram per watt however when divided up to each plant it would be much less. I have a full picture album of the flowering phase at: https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=2092 Pheno type assessment or at least my attempt at it: https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=372 https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?al...ictureid=32460 https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?al...ictureid=32459 https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?al...ictureid=32458 https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?al...ictureid=32448 https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?al...ictureid=32446 https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?al...pictureid=2288 https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?al...pictureid=2290 Last edited by neuroherb; 03-07-2009 at 02:23 PM.. Then screw on cap( nice and tight!) under water making sure not to trap any air. Leave dripper line at ~8cm. long. Give the pot a good watering. Insert B/M snugly into nicely compacted soil(not too loose) . Open till water comes out, carefully close until just a drop barely forms. Tighten 1.75 - 2 Arrows Adjust as necessary for a few days, then leave it alone! "He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. Should have added these were grown in Plagron Light mix organic potting soil mix with the perlite pre mixed.
They were fed with Canna organics range with a half dose feeding every 4 watering. Bio Boost was used during flowering to increase flowers, but next time I will also be using Molasses. |

Cheers Seismic
With Pheno C if you don't use a crystal catcher you can press the last spliff or so into a bit of hash before crumbling it in the spliff :-) Here is a go at a smoke report: Pheno A Tight large calyx bud with a heavy chemical fuel aroma. Smooth smoke pungent chemical on the inhale but like the aftertaste from earl grey tea on the exhale. Heady buzz and relaxing body stone certainly takes care of the ciatica. Pheno B More airy sativa like buds with earthy spicy aroma. Very hashy type smoke closest flavour I had in the dam is Barneys G13. More of a buzzy high that gains in relaxation as it goes. Pheno C Tight large calyx bud with almost the same chemical fuel aroma as A but with an additional hint of fruit. Was very much like mango during growing.. Thick dense smoke that your throat knows its taken a draw off. Heavier buzz than the Pheno A but much the same otherwise. All are still changing a bit as there at a 3 week cure so far. |

Don't sweat the gram/watts. That was your first run with them. What counts this run is you like it and have a big bag of smoke! Now that you know what they are about top and train them for yield. God knows CJ yields are huge. And dam good smoke to boot. Glad your happy with them...mitsu
