Hello, I am new to this and wanted to share some details of my first room setup here.

As you can see, I have 2 1KW lights hung in the middle of a circle of 12 large plants. I have two of these circles for a total of 24 plants in 3 gallon pots.

All lights are run on 220V, hooked up to a green air lighting controller with timer.

The room I am working with has about 9.5 x 12ft usable space.

I have a 8" Vortex 747cfm fan pulling air through a large carbon filter and exhausting into the attic. I am impressed with the great airflow through the rigid ducting I chose to use!

It takes a full 32 gallon trash can to water each time. I have a submersible pump hooked up to a watering wand for watering.

I still have some work to do like mylar on the walls, extensions for some of the lamp cords, but it is all coming together. Also, the plants are now in tomato cages to help expose all the buds toward the light. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

your just exhausting the room with a 8" vortex and thats it?
whats your intake situation looking like?
any AC?

It amazes me how many people rock uncooled lights with a simple exhaust fan. Makes for a really clean and simple setup.

made the switch to rigid ducting, and its incredible. I run a very simalr system, 5 gal hempy's but i run 5000w, 4000w of that i cool with rigid ducting and cooltubes. theres about 2ft of therma flow directly above and below the cooltubes so i can raise and lower them. im switching everything to rigid, makes your outtake cool 3-5 degrees better, just gotta be careful that shit will slice you up quick. I also feel its quieter too

I just realized you have 4lights, for some reason i read it as 2 1kw, i saw the 4 lights i just thought it was a mirror as a closet door haha. anyway, thats pretty amazing your cooling that off with an 8in, im using a 12in vortex

im thinking its because your fan is at the ceiling, mines sitting on the floor. gotta tweek that. nice grow brother

this is basically exactly what i want to do but instead of 1k's ill be using 2x600w in my circles. So whats the verdict on cages then? have them around the plant or just one around the bulb?

Nice grow Kush09 hope you can give us an update with more pic's ect would be good to follow this grow.
