Favorite C-99 cross
I can't decide. Give me some help picking. I prefer faster, stinky plants myself. Any advice?

Don't mean to step on a duck.(no pun intended) IMHO Blueberry is a good match to Cindy, since Cindy is dominant in most crosses.

hehehe im sure everyone does grinchy ,,i know i have done many times looking at the seed catalogues ... even the vegetable seed catologues do it for me , particularly the heirloom/open pollenated varieties .. they are fun growing for sure ...
if i were u ,, id be choosing something with some taste ,, nothing beats tasty weed ,, ripening time and production are mainly for commercial growers i think or those impatient folks, taste and good weed cant be beaten , not matter how long it takes and how much u get ... |

Grapefruit x C99 Pineapple Pheno... no doubt about it. Still right at the top in my garden and the first one I grab when it finishes, which is always fast. Smells like GF while growing and cures up sweet smelling and smokes like pineapple. One of my Best strains for the money since I am poor and can't afford the highest priced beans. Not tired of it yet.

"One of my Best strains for the money since I am poor and can't afford the highest priced beans." Kola Radical
it has been my experience that expensive seeds are no qurantee of quality. in fact, the more expensive they are, the more disappointment can be experienced. wine is very similar: some of the nastiest tasting shit has been the most expensive. i'm content with a decent chianti from the grocery store these days.... i don't trust the large breeding houses. through the years i have read many reports of the bigger names in the seed business who do not have a hand in the breeding process as they claim----most all of them buy seeds from private growers in bulk. many breeding houses offer the exact same strains but with different names. this is a common practice. the seed business, particularly in the netherlands, is corrupt beyond imagination. this is why breeders like Wally should be appreciated. you're very likely to find extraordinary plants from seeds made by him because he is dedicated to the plant, and to the people who buy his seeds. the big breeding houses could care less about their products as long as their sales are high. |

Thin man you must have heard the saying your fulla shit.
Fine wines are not just invented. The top Quality strains can ask high as they are worth it. We all must know a lot of them are pretty much average with one advantage feature usually. Elites however are worth it. Wally has done wonders with Cindy. However if you knew what you were talking about you would find those new C99 beans to be THE HIGH end of the spectrum. So they not worth it.? How do you know so much about the seed biz? I know you are just making a few stoned opinions. |
