I can't get an Avatar up.

I go to the Edit Avatar area of "My IC", and I have over 75 posts. Seems like there's only one bubble to select with the little dot, and it says "Do Not Use an Avatar"

I'm using Safari on a Mac, and I logged out and then hit Empty Cache. I then logged back in, it said all cookies had been cleared, yet it hasn't changed.

I still am not getting any options to add an avatar, only use the default ones listed under "Standard Avatars". I have read the other threads in this sections and done all I can. Please help this lost soul.

Murphy's Law! Try and try without it working, but now that I start a thread it miraculously works!

I feel sorry for the mods of this forum. . . .

That's my Zelda curse. After trying and trying I give up and check the walkthrough and it tells me to do exactly what I've been doing. Then it works.

How do I go about using one of my own, when I go under MY IC I just see the white box and other standard icons. How can I upload my own? Thanks

Things are in transition at the moment so there may be technical difficulties for awhile.

When you go to EDIT AVATAR do you see the page as below?

Note the red arrows I added at the bottom? You can use a url address for a pic off the web or use CHOOSE FILE to upload an image from your computer. If those options aren't up for you, have a little patience. Skip is busting his buns trying to work things out.

You need 75 posts to become a full member and get access to certain features like avatars, PMs, chatroom

I go to edit avitar and I can only use one of the 60-something generic ones, I don't see an option to upload my own or use a pic in my album as the avitar. Any ideaS?

get your post count up
only then can you choose a custom avatar
not sure howmany posts you need though, check this forum we are in i am sure the answer is just a few threads down somewhere

:edit: yeah its only 14 threads down
do a search next time before posting your question, most likely you will find the answer
oh yeah its 75 posts
