Peak 19

Hey folks long time Sag grower here,I've always loved the strains.I just rejoined maybe some of you remember me.I was SKELETOR and ballastman on OG.The American here on Icmag for awhile. The reason for this post is a mystery I dont understand. If some of you have had the same experience recently it would explain it.I just got a zero percent germination rate from Peak 19 in the breeders pak from gypsy.I've grown for about 10 years and although I've had a few 50% germ rates, never a big zero.I did nothing different than I've done for years, paper towel in sealed tupperware. Its a mystery..and a bummer.Anyone else have this experience recently?

No but

I remember the old emery boards. Peak 19 was a great pic of that tall collum.
Canadian i think it was, any one familiar. i never heard of it aside from that catalog.

Well 5 of 10 of the kwik kali I got with the same order have germed at 48 hours.I'm at 5 days now with the peak 19 and nothing man.Out of many dozens of orders I've never had this happen. It was to be my new production strain since I lost my blockhead pheno.

The purpose of this thread was to see if any other peak 19 growers recently have had this happen to them.I've got nothing but respect for Tony and they were in the breeder pack.I recently got 100% germ from his NL #9.It just seems so unusual to me

I'm not a peak 19 man at all,I am a Sagarmatha fan thats for sure.I loved every atrain I've grown from them.Bubbleberry, yumbolt and a few others. The peak 19 was going to be my blockhead substitute since I was ignorant enough to lose the pheno after years.I've got 9 sag NL that I'm currently transplanting into 2 gal pots today, that and 6 sensi northern lights.Plus like I said 5 of the sag kwik kali have already gtermed at 72 hours.Going on six days and no peak 19 though.I'll get through this pheno hunt from seedplants..What a pain though after growing clones perpetually for years. If I find another strain like blockhead that yields a quarter pound off a 4 ft plant with exceptional quality then this nightmare will become another dream lol

I loved Heavens Stairway.Poppy was my first internet crush haha.I got my SOL blockhead from them in 2003 I believe and have had it up until just a month or so ago.Its a sad feeling man,I know some folks are laughing.I never could get 4 oz. or better clones from 4 ft plants that grew literally straight up.What a high end commercial strain.I do anything to run into BH again.
