big bud x northern lights grow pics
I started a thread in the Indoor Soil Growers forum and after reading the threads in here I decided that to do these plants true justice they needed to be in here also so the folks who may be considering growing them can see what they may be getting....This is my first indoor grow and I chose the femmed bb x nl to get started. My intent is to veg indoors and transplant to outdoors in a week or so, and let the plants finish their vegging naturally and begin budding around the middle of July. Here in 38 degree latitude I can leave the plants out until the end of Oct or sometimes the second week of November. Needless to say they will have plenty of time to finish. I've got these in Miracle-Gro soil and have only fed them once with fish emulsion, around week 5 if memory serves. These plants are now at 8 weeks and needing to be transplanted as soon as I'm satisfied we're not getting any more frosts. Planted that early, if these ladies veg as planned, they are going to be absolute monsters to say the least. There will be more pics to come as I will document this thread from this point forward to harvest.....Enjoy....
Family picture. 5 out of 5 seeds germed, I gave one of these to a friend and kept the other 4. |

Thanks Relik, we're definately terrorizing bro. Gonna overgrow the countryside with these!
One thing I meant to mention. I'm sure I've not seen a fraction of the MJ plants that you boys have, but I have to say these are the stoutest plants I've seen yet by far. It's unreal just how brawny the bb x nl is. I don't mean to go on and on about it but I'm impressed to say the least...It's almost time fella's, it's almost time.....

They are nice and bushy! Is that Nirvana's BBxNL? If so, I've heard good things are those beans and what a deal for the price! Keep on truckin', brotha. It looks great so far.

Aloha dude
I just won't grow any big bud anymore. \\\\ Have you ever grown pure big-bud? All show, no go. Big yield of crap. That said, wish you luck, looks killer.

This is the way to go man!!! Let the sun grow them out, to become big outdoor monsters.......Who doesn't dream of that??
The famous Nirvana NLBB of a few years ago, came from us also and these femmed NLBB seeds are from the same genetical make up. Have a good one!!

I will be watching this thread closely. I have the same thing growing indoors right now. You are absolutley right about the growth. The stalks are getting fat and the vertical growth is very bush like so far. But I have topped at three nodes to get it to spread.
Good luck Tokinjoe they look VERY good so far. It will be interesting to see how many are actually female. HOPEFULLY 5 for 5. |
