vertical cooltube in a cab help.

To the point.
36x21x36h - external Stanley - DIY cooltube - 6"scrubber - Going vertical.

Filter on the floor attached to cooltube attached to stanley sucking out the TOP then a muffler.

My question/need of opinion is intakes.

Want to put the intake, 30x6" louver (see ticks soggn box), on the top back wall.

Cool air will enter from the TOP dispersing any heat inside, go down through and around plants, through filter, up and out.

Is there anything Im not taking into cosideration?

Heat rises, so it would be most efficient to have your carbon filter pulling air from the top of the cab and intaking from the bottom.

You could get a duct booster fan (15 bucks at Home Depot) to cool your light and then pull out of your filter separately.

I know this is ideal, but not doable. Can not will not run 2 fans.

It's either vent IN from top fan on bottom blowing up and out. <or> vent IN from bottom fan ontop sucking out. The latter puts the outtake about 14" from the celing. A fan can be added to disapate the air that may be above the cool tube.

I used to run a vertical cooltube in a gutted fridge. You should suck from the top and vent out the bottom if at all possible.

If that isn't an easy option, then make sure that you have massive amounts of circulation inside. In such a small space, if the ventilation is adequate and the internal circulation is quite forceful, then it shouldn't matter at all. The question is would you rather hang a filter (instead of just putting it on the floor which is easier), or would you rathe put another fan inside that's big enough to be constantly swirling air around inside?
