Did you have any problems with them when they first started to grow? For me they seem to have a tendency to either grow upside down or their taproot pushes it out of its grow medium.

Rose the only way that can happen is when the seed is too close to the surface of the soil and upsidedown... wheather you put it in the soil that way or it happend when you watered it making the soil loose and the seed spun around upsidedown. It is very rare for a root to grow agaist gravity, even seeds that are planted upside down with enough depth they will grow the root up at first then curve before hitting the surface, due to the force of gravity and the sensing of increased moisture. So, if your sprouts are not upside down and cruve the tap root up to the surface,, you might want to look at your soil and see if it is too hard to penetrate, so the root has no choise but to go where it can.

It also happened to someone else on another forum and it is the only strain/time I have had this problem. I have been able to fix things and they have gone on to grow just fine. I had one that after it popped the tap root did a u-turn came up through the medium realized its mistake and did a second u turn she grew normally after that.

I actually ran across this too, Diesel is a good smoke but the smell is outrageous while growing.
