Thats pretty cool news. I have noticed a couple of things recently while smokin pot. One, it works great for allergic problems. Like when your sinuses freak out and you start sneezing your head off. Stops that shit right away.
Two. I'm pretty sure I have mold in my house that is making me allergic and I itch like crazy. Pot fixes the itch. I have to say that I smoke for the fun of it but this extra benefit is great.

how about that. After all these years of the anti pot people saying "it's bad for your heart because of the increasesd heart rate".
I have one question about the study though...they said ..... >They fed mice a high-cholesterol diet for 11 weeks. About halfway through that period, they started giving some of the mice very low, daily oral doses of THC< Seems kinda backward to me. I would think that if they gave them the THC FIRST, then the mice would be REALLY into the high cholesterol diet. mmmm cheeeseburgers.

I/we are at war;
I sent this article along with a host of other information to my Pastor & estranged wife / Why people will not let facts rule the decision is beyond me - Our time will come! To all of us who have paid a price for our statements & life styles- we will someday be rewarded for our determination to overturn an unjust law. I strongly urge U send this artical & any other artical U can find to any one who will listen - GET ACTIVE ============================== ================== this was the letter I sent & yes I emailed every one of the comity members to move Texas House Bill H.B.658 out of comity Quote:

Its all great news, but i cant help but have a slight bitter taste in my mouth about how the government and medical world is reaping the benifits of marijuana by taking what they want from it, but still outlawing it for the rest of the worlds people who choose to self medicate instead of take synthetic versions at the cost of what ever the medical industry wants to charge from something we can all grow for free.
They will eventually take what they need from the thc for their uses, but our uses will STILL be illegal, even if we use it for medicinal purposes ourselves... To me that stinks of double standards in their favour to make alot of money from something they outlaw us to be involved with. |

"To extrapolate this to, `A joint a day will keep the doctor away,' I think is premature.." The results suggest that cannabinoids with activity at the CB2 receptor may be valuable in treating atherosclerosis. The dose response curve for this effect to take place is also rather odd, 0.1-10 mg/kg THC did nothing, while 1 mg/kg did the trick. So the only way for this to possibly have an effect is to carefully measure out your dosage, can't smoke it either (then you'll never know how much THC you're taking).
