I have never heard of using it that often maybe a couple of times during a whole grow but that's it you do not want to destroy the beneficial micro organisms.

Hello all,

I use 3% H2O2 in my organic soil grow every watering/feeding at 20cc/l and have excellent results...my overwatering issues have vanished and hte root growth in much better then when I was not using it.

Now this is just my situation so take it for what its worth.

lol

it's going to be ok with the nutes-there is nothing in them that it will disagree with-but-as some of the guys have said it's not recommended with the coir. Canna advise against it's use with their coco-but you know how these things go-it might turn out to be fine. Would be interesting to know how it worked out if you try it
cheers

There is absolutely no reason to use H2O2 in a coco grow. The beneficial organisms will keep the bad ones in check as well as provide benefits. There is also no reason to recirculate. If you are using H2O2 and recirculating why in the world would you choose coco as a medium? Growrocks will provide better aeration.

I've used a lot of H2O2 to offset fungus gnats and I've never had a problem at all. Daily multiple feedings and 2-3 tsps a gallon and it never gave me any shit. I don't depend on a microherd though and I much rather be the one in control of the rootzone, so yeah... They say you can come across fungus if you reuse coco that has the beneficial organisms killed off but what's that matter if you're using H2O2? I wouldn't use it with any form of organic nutes though.

BlindDate - Probably because it's a lot easier to keep a plant alive in coco with failed pumps, hot ass res's, blah blah blah, than it is pure hydro...

Can anybody confirm that bit about H2O2 helping get rid of Chlorine ?

My friend has some problems that are down to the [different] water and Chlorine is suspected to be the cause, he does drip to waste in Coco mainly because of the poor water quality - it just seems to be the simplest system as well as the most forgiving hydro medium.
