I picked up a retail pack of Flying Dutchmen afganica seeds x 10 from sacred seeds in Toronto along with a pack of the pure sk1 back in 9/07. I tried to germ the afganica seeds 3 at a time over the past 2 weeks and had a zero germ rate. I have not opened teh sk1 yet. hate to be out the dollars and just wondering if I should take the issue up with seed shop or seed company or just eat it and keep tokin

make sure the seeds have a constant temp 75 degrees and kept moist. and they should germ.

im currently growing all Flying Dutchmen strains in my growroom and another room at my friend.We bought 25 seeds,2x5fem mix,Afganicax10,G-force feminizedx5.All of them germed and are beautiful plants by now in 6th week of flowering.
U could try my method which has always worked fine for me,i just put seeds in a glass of water and put them in the basment on the heating mashine where they have around 23 degrees and its mostly dark in the room.when they sprout i put them in jiffy or rockwool and under CFL lamps.
Afganica grows big most of it in flowering cycle,it almost dubbles its hight and i have atleast 3 difrent phenos.Will make a grow journal and put pictures on but im out of space for pictures after i just uploaded my first indoor grow.
Fem mix plants are all smaller indicas but they are my most liked plants in my growroom now.Gforce is still 2 weeks behind and it just started closing internodes and it will be a great plant when it finishes.
I hope u will manage to grow some of your seeds i can say its well worth it.
