I haven't tried growing Neem in Florida or anywhere else, and I don't have answers for all of your questions, but I did a quick search and found out several things that will hopefully help.
Give them full sun (no shade), especially for young trees. Water little, as Neem is drought tolerant and thrives with moist but not wet roots (risk of fungus and root rot if too wet). Neem can be prone to zinc and potassium deficiencies. Average rain in Florida per year is supposed to be 40 inches or less per year = 1016 mm... range that Neem can tolerate that I found is 400 - 1200 mm so it'll be close but I think it would work. Average temperatures in Florida that I found range from 72-82 F. Neem can stand average annual temperatures up to 90 F. I hope that helps. |

I grew a neem tree when I lived in florida, easy grower and tolerant of winters in the Ft. Lauderdale area. In three years it rached about 12 ft high but I never sow it bloom unfortunatley.
