FireFox Users: Speed up Mozilla Firefox about 3-30x Faster
New Tut will be add here!
page 3: "The coolest way to download video from YOUTUBE" Page 4: 15 Coolest Firefox Tricks Ever! will turn u into a JEDI ![]() Speed up Mozilla Firefox about 3-30x Faster!!! If your a firefox lover like me then you should try this. 1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries: network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxreq uests Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading. 2. Alter the entries as follows: Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true" Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining " to "true" Set "network.http.pipelining.maxre quests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once. 3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.del ay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves. If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages 2-30 times faster now. This make icmag run like Hussein Bolt

I did it and loaded a few pages and be I'll damned if it doesn't appear faster. Notice it mostly in the progress bar at the bottom left doesn't seem to dawdle as much while loading is going going on.
Thanks! Will report any problems that may arise.

It allows requests for page info to be sent before all the previous requests have been fullfilled. So the browser makes ALL the requests as quickly as possible to get the info coming to you while sites sending like advertising are still determining what they are going to send. Sound about right??

Part2: Lower Your FireFox Memory Usage
TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
So hey guys! Im gonna show you how to make your firefox use less memory. make a new tab, and enter this into your url box: Code: about:config Next, FF might show a error saying that this might void your warranty if you change any settings, Just click ok. Now left click in the window, and select new -> integer. Set this as the name: Code: browser.cache.memory.capacity and when it asks for the integer, set it to 60000. Now restart FF and it will install some updates and you are good to go! I did't done it becuase my firefox take 63K only but a friend try it and say it worked great form him. Hope it help u guys

Pipelining reduces network load and can reduce page loading times over high-latency connections
Users who want better page loading speed can try setting this preference to true, keeping in mind this may break some websites.
