I think the orignal strains are a great info to read.. I would liek to know, the orignal.. but everyone always calls something whatever near where I live, you have some pure Nebula, give your friends a sample sack, they call it something else, by the time some more of your friends come around they ask for somethign called darth vader lol ;-)

I guess, it would be from mexico, coulmbia, afghanstan, peru, spain,.. umm... I cant spell good, but Ill google it & see what I come up with.. Maybe soemone knows the answer, it would be cool as hell!!!!

i am positive there are tons of landraces.. thing is... its not unique to each country, but eachj regional climate... natural selection will create special landraces that will work in each different climate. theres a lot more to it than just 8, and im sure there are some brilliant landraces that might not have been discovered.... so there always i something diferent... another thing is, a lot of these modern strains have strayed so far from the origional land races, with mutants, stabelizing... hybrids.... and all of that, to such an extent that imo the idea of all of these strains being landrace almost seems completely irrelevent.. im not saying theyre better.. and sure the land races were what made these great strains, technicallyu its part of its genetic makeup... but so many of these strains dont necesarily seem too closely related... sorry off on a ramble... im not sure if i made that make sense, or longwinded.. but heh

some could even say that the OG Texada Timewarp which is meant to be grown outdoors is a Texada Timewarp landrace, cause boy so far nothing has beaten that outdoor Texada from Texada I had a few years back. 2 hrs felt like 5.5 hrs and everything looked like in a movie, kinda hard to describe just had the look to everything like you get when you watch a movie.

Starting breeding project myself cause of this! All my paretage stock is gonna be pretty near as dam it.......landrace or so far in bred there as close to true as can be had!!!! Must still be some crosses to be done!!! Building up a nice small collection from south american sativas to south african sativas, to G13 and the likes, many many more strains out there you just need to source them. Find it a really enjoyable thing about breeding, collecting and sourcing your genetics. Any new hybrids coming out now are stiull containing new genetics and phenotypes like Gypsy Divine Medley and shit, hope this contributed to your thoughts
