I no the prices are a joke its one of the things that put me off growing in are little damp country.But its no suprise that grow equip. is so expensive because then again most things are here lol and another thing cigarrettes!!How they can charge 8.50euro for a packet of fags is robbery and whats even worse is 4euro of that is tax...greedy bastards

alot of online shops are cheaper, but you have to consider that by the time you get these items shipped out to you, that you may be making up the difference (or usually paying more) in the form of shipping costs.

nevermind the fact that you are having these items shipped through the mail system (or courier), which is a risk in itself. you are also often using credit or debit cards to pay for your gear online, which can all be traced back to you.

those are just a few things to consider.

Yup, it's the same thing here in the states. I have a hydro store right by my house and his prices are CRAZY. I've actually been growing mushrooms which is way cheaper, no lights, mylar, fans, etc. and I can harvest in 30 days flat. Plus they are quite fun and if I were to buy them it would cost as much or more than smoke.
