Thanx darwin

The webbed trait wasn't so hard to keep. I had almost 60% in f2s, 100% in f2bx and the f3s I grew were too few to give a reliable statistic, though they were the most part.
The hardest work is to keep potency (in facts most of the plants losed a little of it, making difficult the parents selection), to shorten the flowering time (after 3 generations I gained 2-3 weeks max., from December to middle November) and so make them more healthy .
In one word: acclimatization

60% in f2s, 100% in f2bx is that in crosses? Surely not in Duck x Duck.

Did you keep any of the off types syd?? That would be the ones without webbed leaf ..
In many test runs we did , they were absolute stunners , full of pink pistels and very very stenchy . we even found several suited to indoor cultivation.
Crossing back to the webbed leaf variety too many times without selecting those types proved to be a bad choice .. they need to be kept as a side line .
My instincts tell me to ignore the webbed trait and concerntrate on the other traits more, leaf shape is just a novelty after all ,, its the end product we seek ...

@Vicious bee
Yes, f2s are duck x duck. I think I've been lucky since the normal percentage of webbed offspring is 25% circa as told by Wally.

@Donald
I still got a dozen of f2 seeds but no clones 'cause I can't keep them outdoor. The goal of the webbed trait selection is exclusively my personal safety so I know I'm sacrifying other important traits.
Anyway I'll try to re-introduce a non webbed in the cross as you suggested
This is one of the non webbed f2s I had

Tennessee is on a distinguished road
not really a novelty at all; could of had this project done by this growing season but my 2011 I should be ready. Don't know if you remember my dealings with my "bagseed webbed leaf" ; I will update as next year rolls around.

there is no novelty in the ability to have thousands of 5 foot monsters all over my city; city officials would be quick to see a "normal" cannabis growing everywhere and be quick to waste tax payers money on a eradication program; with the webbed leaf, so many specimens would escape detection, and get to later ages because of this wonderful trait.

my city next October will be very happy, and stench of glory .

just painting a scene

-donald, if you remember; that bagseed, I successfully bred it to a nirvana strain. have about 15-20 seeds. I have also saved pollen, and pollen sacks, and I pray they stay viable for longer then normal.

my next project of course is to make f2's as discussed.
if the original pollen will be viable and I breed it to the f2, would this stabilize the webbed leaf?
otherwise, will the f2xf2 (f3?) produce a stable webbed leaf progeny?

I meant to pick up those duckfoot seeds so I could implement it into this program and am now regretting not having done so

genetic diversity would be good, IMO.
