Tex233 is on a distinguished road
I just noticed ducks foot isn't on the boo or bay. I'm so happy that i bought them up before they were all gone!!! These are going to be some genetics that i'm going to try to hold on to for as long as possible.

Wish me luck on sprouting in the spring.

The smoke is an up sativa. Potency on mine was good but not knock you out, blow your mind. Of course I screwed mine up and they were indoors. Probably a lot better outdoors with a better grower in charge.

haha i'm sure you didn't stuff them up too bad vicious bee, if it still smoked well who cares i'm still yet to try 100% sativa, most of the things i've had a suck on i think were a mix or mostly indica.

I used to grow ducksfoot with a person many eons ago , it was one of the pioneers i guess that helped with selection and grows , this was prior to our internet dabblings .. some of the photos used are from grows with that person ..
I lost contact with them , i guess folks head in different directions sometimes , it was a long period , around 8 years without any contact ..
anyhows to cut a long story short i recently met up with the said person and was very pleased to hear they were holding cuttings of the ducksfoot we were growing back then ,having lost the stock i had at the time im over t he moon to hear some of it still survives..
im yet to check the stock , but im told they are not hermie and quite intact , a real joy to us here .
Ill let you guys know how it goes , but im quietly confident of good things coming from this in the future...

If you get the old stock I'd try to make sure and breed for Duck structure first. You can always add crosses later but where are you going to find Duck structure? Only the original stock.

If you grow enough in the right conditions you can find some very suited breeding material , just most folks dont have the right conditions to select more tropical sativa type varietys ..
In fact im at a bit of a loss how many are doing that without the correct conditions to show the traits initially .

I found if you just select for the webbed leaf trait then you are stuck with what you failed to select for , it is still a scenario of choosing suitable breeding material , not just a leaf trait , they will all have that ...

Its quite a task mr bee , and its great to see folks like yourself playing around with interesting traits ...
