but this could quite possibly wind up being a great resource for beginner growers and such.

thread rules are simple,
post the dumbest shit you ever heard/read somebody ask.

this way we could quite possibly get rid of some pointless threads.

i will start, one of my bigger peeves.

"what strain is this plant from the veg pic?"
FLOWER IT OUT! NOBODY CAN BE 100% SURE!

then the classic
"how much will this 2 week old plant from seed yield?"

My personal pet peeve: These morons that are chosen to do a "test grow" based on "past track records". Then they show a couple of weeks of their grow thread and drop it-never to return. There are countless examples.

It is the worst when you are interested in watching the grow of a variety that you have in possession, but haven't grown out.

Cannacopia has a bunch of grows like this, but there are many examples.

FYI. If you start a test grow-update it regularly -once a week at least- and finish what you start.

peyote takes 4 years to mature 7 to be dank and more to be heady

Let's step it up a bit....my top 5...dumbest questions/comments ever heard:

1. Soaking vegged plants in liquor makes them the bomb!
2. Spraying sugar on the leaves makes them shiny and potent!
3. Blunts are healthier than joints or a pipe!
4. If you use twice as much fertilizer, will the plants grow twice as fast?
5. Sweating crap weed in a plastic bag until it is completely wet and then rolling it into a ball is how buds are made.

The answer to all of these is the same. "Not a chance in hell"
