Resolution

So, now that '08 has ended, let's welcome in '09 in good fashion. As I reflect upon the success and failures of the past, i can't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for the upcoming year. So much to do, and such good people to help get it done.

Now I know, alot of you have been a little confused, about the way things have been going in HTC. Believe me, I understand. Seemed like we revved everyone up in the beginning of the last year, and not a hell of a lot of action to show for it. What can I say? We had good intentions. Most of the seed crops, were to reinstate certain lines, that were nearly lost to extinction. And when available for consumption, got snapped up fast, like we knew they would. With the exception of Sunshine#2, because, simply the volume of seed that was produced during that run. I still have several thousand. They will probably fall below our 80% germination level cutoff, before they are ever sold. Perhaps given out as freebies with every HTC order wouldn't be a bad idea?

Anyways, onto some resolutions. I resolve, to be much more active, now that my dark cloud has blown away. I will increase my focus on projects I have been planning, over the last two years. As of right now, HTC Skunk IBL, is the only line I have been entrusted to keep going, for the duration of my guardianship with it. I resume my resolution, to keep that line in good condition.

I will also be here, for any of our team to speak to, if any questions come up that I may be able to answer. I love this group, and wish to be as open as possible when it comes to the health and well being of it. If I can't answer your questions, perhaps I know someone who can. I'm not saying i will be a go-between for anyone, but i will try to get answers, the best way I know how.

The production of unique and medically useful strains, is my goal always. In this coming year, I will begin testing, Bx'ing, and stabilizing SCOOM. I knew this strain was something special, the first time I sampled her. It has taken me quite a few years, to get just a small handfull of seed. Karma has paid me in the permission to work this line. So I resolve to do my very best, to get it done!

Above all, I resolve to be a better human being towards my fellow human beings. It has been a long road getting here for me, and I know I haven't always been civil to you all. I have learned to thicken my skin, and calm down my animosity. You all have taught me those valuable lessons. And I am a better person because of you. Your continued support and friendship makes me want to keep improving, and serving this community, for the ultimate goal of quality medicine, and perhaps one day, total legalization. I resolve to keep up the good fight, the only way i know how.

Please, share your own personal resolutions for '09 as well. I would love to hear some.

happy to have you back on full power bro. for my part i did what i said last season, produced two new hybrids for HTC, specially designed for the northern outdoor grower. i plan to do a few more in 2009. im playing with some some tom hill deep chunk crosses and hope to have a super vigeour high yielding deep chunk hybrid for north outdoor ready for the 2010 season.

best wishes to all, keep it green outthere!

my resolution is ill do as much as i can to get a grow going outdoor at 70 degrees north.

much interresting in terms of autoflower strains going on atm. but i need that fully AF, superquick rugged strain that can take the northern scandinavian climate and will finish in no more then 90 days under the midnight sun (24h a day sunlight)

there is a challenge for you breeders hehe

'09 welcomes you, and wills you to produce a million seeds before the year is out.

Personally, I resolve to be.... more .... in '09. I think I blinked and missed 2008 completely. Or possibly I time-travelled. There was that incident with the humming box in the storage container....

Anyway - let 2009 be the year of the grower. Grow MORE!

Glad to hear you're back and ready to hit it hard this year!

Esbe, ya got some great hybrids out last year! Great to see yer pondering the next good bean to spread.... Deep Chunk hybrids seem to produce seedlings of outstanding potential, best of luck on yer projects!

I've got my own DC hybrids to sort through this year! Only thing is, there were 3 untested males used in the open pollination, so sorting out and stabilizing these hybrids may be a bit more difficult....

This year I resolve to plan out the gardens by plant type, autoflowering/early/standard, so that shorter plants are south of taller plants.. Think I may be able to squeeze out a couple more jars.... Had to pull 2 Carpatian early due to being shaded out by plants "in front" still vegetating.....

Hallelujah, YOU ARE HEALED

Can't wait until we see some new and improved scoom pictures up.

No major resolutions for this year but to think of others more then of myself and repay a couple debts that I have let slide by and need to be addressed.

I encourage such experimentation and appreciate posted results. But the marketing of borrowed genetics and reputation without permission, for a high profit, crosses a line. It saddens me that I even need to come here and point this out, again.

My resolution in '09... Score some of ya'lls great seeds. I really want a straight Deep Chunk. Also I have begun to push full force for marijuana in my state constantly writing calling and if I ever find the extra money donate to the cause.

I gotcha covered jws0007. Pure DC seeds in my garden right now, about halfway there. Plus, more clones vegging up big, for more backups and Cripple Creek. Also wanna experiment with some Mexi genetics in there. Tom gave up the hint about RKS being in that combo. Wish me luck!
