Thanks Bushy.. means alot to me.
.
Basically : I don't do anything special to my plants. I grow in rockwool only. I feed my plants a superior micronutrient formula. I use GH Nutrients 3 part mix. Really nothing special is done except for some intense training to make stems stronger.
With Bertha, there was no training her. No need. She is so robust and hard, I found no reason to mess with her. I only took 2 branches from Bertha, both lowers. I used them as the next clones. No other LST or anything on this Giant Bubble.. BUT.. the clones I took from her will get the full treatment of LST. I want a more bushy Giant.. Bertha tends to want to grow 1 main stalk. With hardly any branching characteristics. I can fix that by vegging her long time and pulling those stubborn lowers away from the stem.
Hoping ... But gonna pop some LS beans soon. I want to inject some LS into some of my personal strains..I already noticed Arnold knocked up most of my flowering ladies. Preggers everywhere... But I aint bitchin no sir... Arny was a Brute.. He should make some interesting children when crossed with my stuff.
I'm not making seeds for profit Bushy. Just for personal seedbank and to help out my boys with some outdoor badasses.. You've helped me enormously Bushy... If there is ever anything I could do to help you.. Just let me know.

Well Bushy I been beatin the hell outa Bertha for a few days now. I have to report how bad ass she is! I was kinda stunned at the potency of this Pheno. It has a real hashplant smell and taste. A really clear, strong body floating sensation. I swear it numbs your lips and tongue. The flavor is mello but real nice. A little skunky/sour hashplant aroma when burning.. Very nice!
The bud is nice and chewy textured and covered in resin. The smoke is soft on the throat when inhaling, but if you try to hold the hit your gonna explode. An overall medicated feeling overwhelms the user.
All in all I give this clone a 2 thumbs up. She is a special girl in my garden now. Well worth the price of a whole pack of seeds. Sour Bubble by BOG is a no brainer decision. Thanks so much Bushy!! I got some big fat ripe seeds for ya if you like. I crossed the Berkely#1 that you liked with Arnold the SBx2 male.. Wanna give em a rip?

Nice and frosty, Berk.
I've got a couple of the BX2 vegging right now and VERY much look forward to flowering. Keep up the good work, man.

Outstanding jaw dropping thread Berk I love the work you did with this one. SB x Berk#1 That is going to be one kick ass cross. I like the way you described your male and female phenos ....lemon drop smell, stout, sticky buds, damn that sounds yummy. My hat off to you thats one helluva grow you have done. SSH growing like mad.

peace

Thanks y'all .. I really am proud of her. Her brother did a number on my garden. I have several new crossings that will move the ground around..
.
Yield on the first Bertha was like 3/4 oz dry smokeable bud. But I only vegged for a few weeks. No LST or TLC at all. I fed her like a normal plant and chopped her at 55 days.. She is a Giant Hashplant. My next Bertha will have 2 main tops so the yield should topple an oz. It isn't a great yielder but the quality of the smoke is second to none..She's a keeper. The seeds I extracted from the buds are gargantuan.. Easily 3 times the size of the seeds from my DC. I imagine everyone is an exact duplicate of Bertha or Arnold. No small seeds were produced in that breeding. I wonder... Bertha came from a really small seed. It was actually the smallest dark seed in the batch. Arnold was the largest dark seed. Hmmmm Every seed is as large as the Arnold seed. Bushy.. is there a chance all the seeds are male? any chance? or not probable?
