Hi Guys!
I´ve just returned from a crazy Amsterdam trip and it was the best for a long time! The weed kicked ass

I just want to let you know, what strains were the best. I tried alot, but some were really outstanding...

1. Super Lemon Haze (Greenhouse)
-very tasty, good mix of haze and lemon. Strong and happy up-high. Reminds you of the first times getting high!

2. Black Widow (Katsu)
-one of the strongest indicas i`ve ever smoked! After two hits from the joint you know this is going to floor you for the next two hours. The taste was a little spicy with the typical White Widow taste, but much stronger than every Widow i tried. Together with Black Domina this was the most potent indica i have smoked yet!

3. Amnesia Haze (Bushdoctor)
-This was the most cristalized bud of the whole trip! Amnesia is such a beautiful tasting strain...I could smoke this all day long just for the taste if it wasn`t so damn strong!

4. Bubba Kush (Greenhouse)
- Also a very strong and good tasting indica. It was nearly as strong as the Black Widow, but a little better in taste. All in all top quality!


Also good strains i tried were

Original Haze (Katsu) -smooth in the lungs, nice haze effect

Grape (Dampkring) - berry tasting with a little haze and grape in it

Utopia Haze (Barneys) -old school sativa, good high, but a little harsh in the throat. Would have been better with some more cure

Nevilles Haze (Dampkring) -good hazy taste, but had better NH before

NYC Diesel (Homegrown Fantaseeds) -not the best diesel i had, all the good diesel at the dampkring etc. was sold out:-(

Blue Cheese (Barney`s) good berry/chees/skunk taste, but just little popcorn buds

And last but not least the hash i got:

Super Polm (Greenhouse)
-good clean hash, mellow high, leaves room for other activities, but strong enough (Smoking some right know )

Shibani (Dampkring/Rifman)
-Very shiny black hash, very stony too. really excellent quality!

Iceolator (Katsu)
- black and creamy. It`s not full melt but nearly as good. strong up high

Must have forgotten something, but after that trip that`s no surprise

Seemed to be a good idea to visit the Dam right after the cannbis cup! Most of the shops had good quality weed; much better than the last couple of times i`v been there during the last two years.

Amsterdam- I miss You!

I never been to amsterdam , but i can say for sure that if u go to coffeeshops in other towns most of the time u get crap.

It's better to grow yourself.

I know a few people who sell to coffeeshops. And if they have spider mites , they just spray chemicals on the buds.

In other words , u never know what u are buying in coffeeshops.

I even have had weed with mold in it for the price of 9 euros per gram.

So if u want to throw away money , a coffeeshop is a good place(or if u don'ty have the possibility to grow yourself)

that is not always the case

i mean sure it wont be as good as if u have grown it with care and love

but there is good weed to be found in amsterdam, just look before u buy

bubba kush????????? i thought thats was a clone only california strain?????

surely they dont have it at the greenhouse coffeeshop

i might have to try this when i got next week, although i have never tried bubba kush, so i have nothing to compare it too lol

yeah, you´re totally right, you never know, if the bud you are buying is treated with chemicals and stuff. That`s why i never ever buy any weed in the streets of my country, `cause in 90% it`s laced with any shit you can imagine. (And the weed i`m talking about comes from the black market of the netherlands!) When I´m in Amsterdam, i only go to a few cofeeshops with good reputation and take a close look at every bud i wanna buy! Especially the hash is often laced with oil and other stuff that makes it heavier...
Hope my next crop will be ready soon,´cause i´m puffin on the last piece of hash right now

Just reading and thinking after this years Greenhouse CCup is all the expense and travel worth it. Does not really seem to be ground breaking new strains coming out.Stories of adulterents added and chemical sprays. It just seems like it has become the worst of an illegal product.A lot of rehashed strains with the same Mob dominating the show. If it really were worth it you think by now (almost 2009) it would be Huge leaps forward in progressive strains.
Just the same Mass(wharehouse) produced stuff to Sell to a commercial market and that is just not what im interested in. Why is this always the case, I travelled all the way over to Nimbin Aust and found the same sad affair. Beasters all over and nothing of the quality even a noob with good genes can produce. Whats wrong with the so called experts is that human nature takes hold and you see the greed involved and sadly i think we`ll never make it to legalisation due to many of these factors.

Good point Roger. Also, Amerikans are so EXTREME in everything. As a people, many of us cannot be trusted to stick to regulations. I live in an outlaw/scofflaw area, with more L*w enforcement per capita than any area in the USA, and it is STILL NOT ENOUGH. Folks do ignorant, reckless things here that I can hardly believe, and are not particularly nice to each other.

Elsewhere, it would be seen as a priviledge to be able to grow. But not here.

Give an Amerikan a finger, and he will take an arm. Ruins the "Movement" for all of us.

nice report mate, glad to see you enjoyed Amsterdam and got lucky with finding some nice herb, i was there in july, dissapointed with the weed, but amazed by the hash..

for sure cannabis has become way far to commercial these days, we have started to see a lot of glass, sand, in most of the herbs coming to belgium, france, germany.. that s a shame...
Hashish in France is most of the time unsmokeable...

best way for really good smoke is growing your own and get some grower friends
